june 22
this damn city swallows dreams like a shiny new toilet bowl in an airport
booking dreams, and boyfriend dreams
work dreams, and eating dreams
flush the living shit out of me
rarely leave the house in june, and when i do I hold my own hand, or a sweaty drink, ice melted and floating to the top
standing in the back corner of the show, or next to the speakers
i eat up sound, and yawn
unless im drunk, and then i dance
I wish I wasn’t this way
washed with body phobia
a soap that stinks, literally looks like a smell, when i stand with my arms crossed, curse like a sailor, drink whiskey like im parched
i think you can all see right through me
i’m a dim shade of clear, eyes on the ground, or a business casual smile
