Maybe… But there’s not exactly a whole load of them out there. At least not ones that I have so much of a shot at. It just would’ve been nice to start off on a better note. Not get kicked down at the first one.

Why would you want a shot at something that's gonna give you a bad rep anyways? You would have been known as the actor who debuted in a shoe that doesn't even have proper musicians. You're worth more than that and there's probably a reason the universe made you miss out on it.

You don’t know that that didn’t happen, David. It was just… It was a disaster from start to finish. I flubbed some words in my monologue, I dropped my sides all over the stage, I’m not quite sure what the pianist was doing but it was all wrong and I missed my timing a couple of times, and I could tell by their faces that they don’t want to see me again.

Well, it was only the first one, babe. They don't sound like they're worth it anyways if they can't even hire a pianist who knows how to play.

It’s safe to say that I definitely won’t be getting that part. That’s what happened.

Well, hopefully it's Broadway because I have two tickets for Chicago tonight.

And now that school is out for the both of us, we can go out and have a real celebration. Anywhere you want to go.

  I think I can handle a few. My immune system is pretty tough. I’ll bring some food and movies and we can just hang out. Sound good?
