This is literally what people are talking about when they say AI will be used to mainstream widely held bigotry. LLMs are trained on frequency and probability -> straight relationships are more well represented in the dataset -> straight pronouns and terms become the "correct" normal.
This is a form of backdoor bigotry from both normative facts (there are more straight than gay relationships) and well represented bigoted beliefs (men are superior to women).
Combine this with the mass of people inclined to believe (and being encouraged to believe) that if AI says and does something it must be correct
l've had a thought.
We know that "color" is a concept that Eridians will never be able to fully understand, and that human perception of it is the only way they'll likely ever have of knowing about it (sorry shrimp colors). What if, after Grace becomes the resident alien science teacher, the concept of "colors" becomes like. the Eridian equivalent of knowing your star chart or something.
Grace kicks the whole thing off by accident by telling his students what colors and patterns they have and they go absolutely nuts over this. Turns into this whole thing where they build these light sensors that can tell what general color someone's carapace is and if there are any patterns, or by knowing what material your carapace is you can have a vague idea of what color you are (like the difference between knowing your whole birth chart and knowing your zodiac sign)
And it becomes the Eridian version of a daily horoscope to look up what the lucky colors are that day or if spots or stripes will have more luck with their relationships. Rockyâs specific shade of brown is seen as supremely lucky by virtue of his mission, but with some more somber implications as well due to the loss of his crew. I imagine whatever Adrianâs carapace is (Iâm a green Adrian truther personally) that their color scheme becomes one coveted by Eridians looking for their ideal mate- I mean who else gets to say that their mate saved the stars and then defied death multiple times to return to them??? Thatâs some Eridian fairy tale material right there.
The color of Graceâs hair or eyes becomes the color of Eridians known to be incredibly curious but foolhardy. Every Eridian in their teen angst phase is hoping against hope that theyâve got a smidge of blue somewhere on their carapace to prove that theyâre Not Like Other Rocks.
And Eva Stratt in her infinite knowledge and love of piracy most certainly uploads the Hail Mary with copies of Pantone color palettes, so whichever Eridian scientist who stumbles across this while working with Grace one day will be one lucky rock after they label and program their color scanner with all the different meanings to be used by the general public. Grace will never know peace once he discovers he accidentally created a pseudo Astrology-core movement on Erid.

saw a post abt HBO removing shows that suggests ppl just âburn dvdsâ but everyone doesnt know how to do that so here is one way to do that
- get blank dvds (Both +R or -R work, I think +R is slightly cheaper, the difference is rewritability), these are not very expensive for the amount you can get in bulk (if you are in the US 100 of them is about 30$ at walmart)
- an external DVD drive that plugs in via usb is also around 20-40$ (it tends to be closer to 20)
- download DVDFlick (free)
- if you donât already have the mp4/mpeg of whatever media you want to burn, you can download movies/shows off of sites like gomovies.sx and soap2day
gomovies.sx will have a download button that looks like this
below the video you can choose one of these
if you click streamlare for example and then the download button it will take you here where the mp4 is
(if youâre on an iphone/ipad, clicking download will save it to your files app)
- if you cant find the download button on soap2day you can also install a video downloader extension which will find the movie for you
- at this point you can drag and drop it into a google drive or keep it on your computer but if you still want it on dvd ->
- open dvd flick, drag and drop the video
- click âproject settingsâ
- give it whatever title you want, you can change encoder to ânormalâ (default is below normal if you are doing other things on the computer). you dont need to change target size or thread count (unless you want to)
- insert a blank dvd into your drive, make sure you click âburn project to discâ
- click accept then click âcreate dvdâ next to menu and project settings. it will create a destination folder and this dialogue box will pop up when you click âcreateâ on more dvds, just click âyesâ and then âokayâ on the box that appears after it
itâll take a couple hours, once its done take a sharpie & write whats on it and stick it in a case . or dont . im not ur mom

âbits to use in everyday conversationsâ
and by the way jensen they fridged your character in the final episode because the only other option was to make him gay
no no no exactly say that
I just googled this and⌠yes, itâs absolutely real.
And there are so many articles and videos and discussions. Like, the scientific community is buzzing about this.
So much research will have to be redone because the data was absolutely compromised, off by orders of magnitude, by using standard lab gloves.
The world is probably not horrifically contaminated by microplastics. Sterile laboratories, however, are contaminated by latex and nitrile gloves.
Thank God someone bothered to check.

not to be serious about the absurdity of repetitive discourse or anything but like... if we lived in a world where supernatural wasn't a censored queer text, then maybe jensen ackles (who is an actor and not a writer and also, first and foremost, a businessman) could stand on a stage and declare that dean winchester is bisexual and in love with castiel. but we don't and so he can't, unfortunately.
this is not necessarily a blanket defense of the man himself and whatever he says, and you don't need to take it that way. it's just an awareness of the big picture situation. the inconsistency in how the topic of destiel is handled at conventions is just a symptom/repercussion of this enduring fact of life. the industry + fandom politics that created the uphill battle for destiel that we're all familiar with haven't gone anywhere, and the situation will persist until/unless canon continues and makes this more explicit. it's not new, will never be new no matter how many years this continues, and doesn't change the fact that dean is canonically bi and in love with cas.
I know this, you know this, we all know this. and while it is a bitch of an unsatisfactory situation, and no one asked for my 5 cents, I simply think we should all remember the joke of "no peace and never done" exists for a reason and then maybe find some inner peace about the predictable chaos.
at the end of the day, jensen ackles is not going to say anything novel, or give anyone any unequivocal, permanent, and suddenly consistent validation about this topic because he has too many audiences to please. his blessing is not something anyone should need anyway. the story is clear. the text speaks for itself. the censorship is even a plot point and something that shouldn't be forgotten for this very reason. and the truth of the characters and of canon is uncomplicated, even if the enduring real-world situation is not and may never be.
that post thats like âhow do i know deanâs performing masculinity? because sam isnâtâ except âhow do i know deanâs in love with castiel? because sam isnâtâ
#thereâs no fucking WORLD where sam would be on his knees in front of castiel and tearfully confess ââi need youââ #that scene just wouldnât WORK if it was between sam and cas #why? why wouldnât it work? SAY IT. OUT LOUD.
and when dean carefully wrapped cas' body by himself and had to pause multiple times to collect himself....he was just trying to show cas it was okay to be gay
For those who were wondering this is the destiel controversial answer
Listen to Destiel purcon 10 by Tess #np on #SoundCloud
For those who would like to read a transcript, you can find it under the cut.
Q: Misha said a couple of times that, as seasons went on, that you both kind of played into the romantic undercurrent of your relationship a bit more. I was wondering, for you, Jensen, was there a moment where you started to see more of the validity in Destiel, or was it after you were informed about the confession, or before, or how did that happen really?
Jensen: Did Jensen ever see validity in Destiel?
Q: Yes.
Jensen: No.
Misha: What do you mean by that question exactly?
Q: When were you like, oh, well maybe I had kind of played into it at some point, or maybe when you were watching the series and you were like, oh I can see that people, that a lot of people actually see this romantic story playing out.
Jensen: Yeah look, I donât, Iâm not condemning that notion, I mean for those fans and that kind of fanfiction, that- great! Like thatâs, it inspired people to create their own kind of fiction. The operative word in that fanfiction is fiction. And so, and I mean, look, it wasnât just, the- I- the writers were paying attention, the producers were paying attention, we knew it was building (?) out there. Like it was, that was, that was never the story that I was, that I was telling with Dean. There was, the love that existed between Dean and Cas was a brotherhood. And, I mean thereâs fanfiction about Sam and Dean being romantic ? [audience groans]
Q: Letâs not equate that.
Jensen: But itâs the same, it, I mean, you know, [audience shouts ânoooooâ] ? it is fanfiction, right? The wincest, thereâs a name for it.
Misha: I think that over the years, the existence of that, like, subnarrative in the fandom was definitely something that the writers picked up on. And it was definitely alluded to, like there were winks and nods in the script over the years, for sure. But the actual, like, romantic pivot, the non-brotherly love that Cas felt for Dean, it was expressed in that last scene, was something that was conceived of in the last season. Like, that was Bob Berens script, it was Bob Berens very clear, like, what if we actually had Cas realize that this was what was going on? But, I never thought that that was gonna be a part of the, an actual part of the show, until Bob Berens, like, came up with that story and those words, which were very different from the sort of like wink and nod stuff that had happened before. So that was I think also kind of like, kind of like Deanâs death at the end, which was the unexpected twist. I think certainly for me, that was the unexpected twist, like I was like, whoa, weâre really, weâre really gonna do this? And by the way, for me, that was incredibly gratifying thing. I was like, this is so brave and bold and awesome, to have this character, whoâs been in this like very traditional, kind of like macho show be able to say to the main character of the show âI love youâ in an I love you way, and have that, that like, be accepted. Like, Dean didnât, wasnât like whoa whoa whoa, dude, whoa back off. You were like, it was like this incredibly, I think like inclusive and amazing little moment where it was like, that is okay, you know what I mean? And for that to be okay, for that context in that show, I think- gay representation, it was like really awesome to so many people. So I was like, so happy that Bob took us in that direction, and Iâm so happy to be able to do it, but it was also not, like I think a lot of fans think like, oh they were cooking this up all along, this is what, this was what the undercurrent was all the time.
Q: For some writers maybe.
Misha: Well maybe, but it was never, that was never conveyed to us, and my expectation was that, that isnât how itâs gonna end. I did not think that thatâs where Cas was going. And when it happened, it was the unexpected twist as far as I was concerned.
Q: Yes, and as you said a couple of years ago, there was love in Deanâs eyes.
Misha (stuttering): Dean was expressing not, like a reciprocated romantic love, that is very, like that is very clear. He didnât say I love you too, the same way
Q: He didnât need to.
Misha: But it was like, thatâs my perception of how Dean expressed-
Jensen: Thatâs why I said what I said about Destiel, cause thatâs the inclusive of two characters, when really it was one character. And in order to have the two character in that name, you would need reciprocation. And Dean was not reciprocating that, but he was accepting that. And thatâs the difference.
Misha: And we talked about it before we filmed it, and it was like a, like a loving acceptance, and that is, I think, also just like, thatâs such a beautiful thing, because that could so easily not have been how that landed.
Jensen: Absolutely.
Misha: How that was even played. You could have played that in a different way, right? And that wouldâve told a totally different story. So, um, I think it was like, I think it was very brave of the show to do it, and Iâm very glad that my characterâs swan song told that story, and I think there was a big fan backlash, like why didnât Dean reciprocate? And I was like, thatâs not the point. I mean I remember getting, like, angry at and having fights with fans because it was like, thatâs not the point, the point is that Cas got to express his truth! And that it was accepted! Which is a fucking beautiful thing! You know? AnywayâŚ
Jensen: You know itâs interesting, cause I thought I played that moment as like more familial situation, like, you know, somebody was coming out to their parents, or their family. And itâs like, itâs like you come out, in my head, it was like, come out to your father. All you want is for him to be like accepting of that. You donât want him to then go, you know what, I am too, you know what I mean? So I thought that was an important moment for both characters to be like, Cas had his moment but then also had Dean be like, I understand and I accept you. And I think that was the powerful moment. It wasnât the âOh he didnât reciprocate itâ, and this has been the underlying thing all along, cause it wasnât, I never played that in 15 seasons. But Mishaâs right and in the Deanâs story it wouldâve been very easy for Dean to just be like âOh, what?â and thatâs not what we did.
Misha: And thereâs like, without ?, a reciprocated, like romantic love kind of response. There is love in that! Like, like you would to a family member, and that was like, I donât know, for me that was the most poignant possible resolution there. Because if Dean had been like, yeah me too, I wouldnât have, no one would, I wouldnât have believed that,
Jensen: I wouldnât have believed-
Misha: For me. We knew that character for 15 years, and thatâs not, that wasnât Dean. But it was believable, very believable for Cas. ? Like that character had become also Castielâs whole tether to humanity and in the whole human family. So it was like that really deep, important bond there for him. Itâs interesting to unpack.
Jensen: Yeah, itâs really interesting to unpack again in front of the entire audience.
