Another Update

Jamie’s blog is gone. Tumblr can’t restore it and refuses to admit they were at fault for its deletion. On that note, I urge everyone to back up your tumblr regularly if you have things on here you’d like to save because this isn’t the only instance of things like this happening. This website is such a dumpster fire that your blog can just vanish without warning and there’s nothing you can do about it.

On that note, I’m unlikely to return to this platform now. I was going to announce a new blog, but what’s the point if everything I work on can just disappear in an instant? Forget it. I’m beyond disappointed.

This whole thing’s been a fucking headache start to finish. How come other people get to restore their blogs and I DON’T? I’m seriously sensing some red-tape level bullshit going on here.

I’m also sensing someone stole my URL and hid the blog. Well, either way, here I am. And I’m really salty. Also if Grimomens pops up and it’s NOT me I’m gonna be upset. But hey, maybe they’ll be chill and give me my URL back.

So far, your support emails have been the most useless and unhelpful things. I don’t need a password recovery email, I need to recover a DELETED ACCOUNT. An account that I did not delete. It’s frustrating to sit here and go in circles with some robot-sounding tech support email that refuses to help me because ‘we can’t send you a password recovery link unless you message us from the email address associated with the account’ when there IS no account.

It was DELETED. I don’t need password recovery I need an ACCOUNT RECOVERY.

I hate everything right now. I had a blog 2+ years old with so many followers, memories, etc. And it’s just...all gone. Great. I can’t even get my old URL back. Thanks, tumblr
