Ocean Eyes Staring at the Sun

The blushing introvert twitched cutely as the pressure was returned, having his lips lingering for a little while more. His hands found their way to the Shinigami's firm chest, trying to give himself some space and gain eye-contact, but now he noticed the strong grip Kid held over him. "M-Mn...I-I love you, Kid-kun.", Crona sheepishly said and buried his form in Kid's torso.

Though a bit surprised at first, Kid pressed his hands on Crona's back to keep the teen close and tilted his head for his lips to do the same over Crona's plump set. He was soft and warm to the touch, perfection to the Reaper.

“O-Okay, Kid… I just don’t want to get you in trouble…” But the swordsman held onto his arm out of reflex as his stomach growled audibly, fortifying the ebony-haired’s proposal of food. He heard Kid chuckle silently to himself in amusement all the while Crona sighed delicately. “W-Well…Something to eat would be nice.” The smile he now wore didn’t fade the moment his torso rushed forward and pecked the Reaper’s lips sweetly. An unusual yet not unwelcomed act of Crona’s.

Seriousness overtook Kid's expression again. "If you're hungry, then we're going to get you food. I can't have you starving. I don't understand why you didn't fix yourself something." At this, he petted back Crona's soft hair affectionately. He knew Crona was the type to put others before himself. The devotion he held was one thing Kid loved about him, but also made the Reaper worry. It was adorable and nice to have such loyalty, but Crona really needed to be less of a pushover. 

A blissful smile covered the young Maken's features, the forestalling offer flattering him immensely. But despite his naiveté to many things, Crona knew just as well as Kid did that there would be consequences for the Reaper to handle. He didn't want to be the cause for troubling his lover... "B-But...What if Nygus finds o-out? W-Won't you be in t-trouble?" His sad, blue eyes raised shyly as he began to fidget in oncoming tremor.

Kid smiled warmly and motioned for Crona to stand up. "Aren't you hungry? It's still lunch break. I could go with you to get something for you." It would get him in trouble, but Kid tended to decide on his own which rules were worth following in pursuit of his wants and beliefs. Crona's hunger came as more important than sitting around alone in an office, even if it was only for the rest of the week.

The beet red painting the pinkette's face spread right down to the low of his hidden neck. He was familiar with this peculiar mood of Kid's, but that didn't cease the fact that he was still flustered by it. The poor thing whined and hid behind his hands, refusing to give the frisky Death God another answer. "K-Kiddoo...", Crona spoke with a hint of complain in his voice that might have been more convincing if it wouldn't be for the faint giggle coming along with his words.

"Sorry." He wasn't that sorry. There was a small amount of sympathy for causing Crona discomfort, but really, it was overridden by amusement and satisfaction. "Would you prefer if I licked elsewhere?" Now that, he knew, was completely inappropriate. Being locked up in the nurse's station with lack of contact with his friends had put him in a very teasing mood. He didn't plan for anything to come of it. He just loved making Crona blush. Maybe it was a bit mean, but the pinkette never took it that way.

The corners of the Maken's plump lips formed a bright smile. "T-Thank you, Kid-kun." Crona dipped his head in an abashed manner. The powerful Death God always treated him so well, as if Crona was the diamond in his rhinestone world. He was never required to deal with feelings like this before, for Medusa did her best to deny him all kinds of well-being. Kid was, next to Maka, the first person to show him love and affections like this. Of course, the pink-haired youth's first acknowledgement was uncertainty together with fright, but handling these things got easier each day. Nonetheless, a brilliant blush overcame the introvert as Kid's mouth followed the trail down his temple and licked his sensitive ear. "D-Don't...D-D-Don't do that, Kiddo..!", he whined in weak protest with a face as red as a tomato, which didn't seem to bother Kid though. The Reaper's smirk spoke of the opposite actually.

Keeping a positive tone, he placed a hand on Crona's shoulder. "That was perfect, thank you." He kissed Crona's soft pink hair. It was simple and sweet at first, but he had the urge to be a little more teasing, so he let his lips trail down to Crona's ear and flicked it with his tongue. The ebony and ivory-haired young man smirked at the flush that came over his boyfriend. All in a day's work, he thought.

Crona's orbs held a light blue in color, an expression of delighted shock let the anxious gloom in the Witch's child's eyes dissolve like frozen ice in the heat of summer. "R-Really?", the swordsman spoke in astonishment at his own obtainment. Kid's smile just widened with a nod and he eagerly leaned in for another bite of the well-prepared dish. "I-I'm so happy you like it!" Crona's small heart paced like a humming-bird's inside his rib-cage. If there is one thing making him happier than seeing his Reaper, then it's making said Reaper content. He let his hands fold shyly on top of his shanks and a rosy pink dusted the young boy's cheek-bones, all the while watching his lover eat the meal with vigor.

He sent another smile Crona's way before taking a bite. He was pleased to find it really was delicious. "This is fantastic, dear!" he complimented cheerily.

During his Shinigami lover's ardent speech, Crona played with the hem of his outfit in a fluster. Yes, it was true that the Reaper held his calm and collected reputation upright the majority of time, but there were times when a subject caused enough mental distress to bring out fits like these. The introverted boy still didn't quite know how to deal with them sometimes... However, the small spark of discomfort was blown out, for strong hands reached out and did their work on the pinkette's clothes with precision. Crona's eyes widened bashfully. Most people appeared to think of Kid's obsession to be obnoxious, but Crona could exclude himself entirely. It only meant that the Reaper cared, didn't it? "M-Mhm...", he hummed in agreement, his lips forming a gentle smile ere they got captured in a loving kiss that made him melt. The swordsman twisted his skirt again before he remembered the actual purpose of this visit. "A-Ah! I f-forgot!" With one swift motion, Kid had the bento box aimed at his face. "H-Here...! I-I made you l-lunch, Kid-kun."

The Reaper calmed his short-lived ranting as his eyes caught sight of Crona's knee-length black skirt that the boy was twisting. Kid leaned over much to Crona's confusion and readjusted his white puff-sleeved blouse before the small black vest over it. Kid smirked upon realizing he and Crona nearly matched. "There we are. Perfect." His golden gaze drew up to Crona's blues with a softened smile. Kid gently cupped Crona's cheek before giving him a soft kiss, lingering a few seconds before pulling back and leaning against Nygus's work desk with crossed arms. "It isn't so bad here. It's just frustrating when all I did was try to help and I'm punished for it." Kid shook his head with an annoyed "tsk".

A small yelp left Crona's mouth at the unpredicted contact, reddening his cheeks visibly. "Ah...H-Hello, Kid-kun..." The swordsman subconsciously clutched onto his right forearm as the Reaper placed a lithe hand on his shoulder and invited him into the room. It didn't matter how often he would see his lover; Kid's ability to speed up his heart-beat in timid joy would never cease. "I-I'm well, Kid-kun.", Crona replied after evening out his skirt to sit. "And you? How was your day?" His dark-blue orbs met the Death God's gaze and Crona twitched cutely. He sure had missed his Reaper.
