why do you use aave if you're white? (based on your twitter pic)
I know birds can’t read, but if you can look at my pic, you can see my bio ;) I highlighted it for you just in case it’s still a lil too tough for you to figure out!
And not that I owe anyone an explanation of my skin tone? Because literally what the fuck who skin tone-polices people? But, I dealt with a lot of internalized racism growing up! I grew up in a painfully white neighbourhood. In my highschool you could count the number of black kids on two hands. I though my darker skin was ugly because everyone around me was white. I did everything possible to change myself to be what I thought other people found attractive. So yeah, I am very light skinned. Even when I was darker though I was still a beige cause my mom is white. Whether I meet your standards or not though, I have a beautiful black family, I am surrounded by wonderful black culture, and I am a black woman. Now I’ve been extremely tolerant of your bullshit in my inbox, but I’m gonna kindly ask you to go fuck yourself, you ignorant crow.
imagine sending anons like this in 2020. imagine being like this. wow.
i’m not even going to play into some narrative that you’re seeking some kind of social justice, anon. some “gotcha!”. i know you’re just being a troll, and maybe we’re all feeding you, but to stay quiet in situations like these would be worse than speaking up and giving you the attention you so desperately crave.
since this isn’t the first time noosh has gotten anons like this, i suspect they’re from the same person. in which case, get a life, dude. don’t harass someone because you don’t like them. it’s not a good look.
if for some reason two people have thought, ‘gee, that person online appears to have lighter skin so they MUST be white! i should call them out anonymously because that works really well every time!’ then please, i implore you to ask yourself why you think that is a good course of action. (not to mention that you should do some super basic-level research into skin tone variations and how photography was literally optimized for white skin tones, but that might be too much to ask.)
there is no place in any community, let alone this one, for someone like this, so run along now.
