A Harvard Business School alumnus and private equity professional with global experience, Gregory Bedrosian of Greenwich, Connecticut co-founded Redwood Capital Group. Located in close proximity to Connecticut in New York, the firm offers valuation and merger and acquisition services, among others, under the leadership of Gregory Bedrosian. In February of 2016, Redwood Capital Group served as the financial advisor for Retrotech Inc in its sale to the KION Group. The American company, owned by Legris Industries Group’s Savoye SA and a provider of warehouse and distribution automated solutions, was sold for approximately $40 million. KION Group expects the acquisition to benefit its US-based automation division, Egemin Automation. KION completed its purchase of Egemin Automation in 2015 for the purpose of growing its presence in the sector of material flow systems and automated logistics. Retrotech specializes in automating order fulfillment and storage systems. The company has operated for more than three decades and offers expertise in unit load automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), goods-to-person systems, and warehouse control system (WCS) software.                            

Based in Greenwich, Connecticut, Gregory Bedrosian is a Harvard-educated businessman who is the cofounder and CEO of Redwood Capital Group, where he oversees the Connecticut company's strategic direction. Additionally, Gregory Bedrosian is a member of the London-based think tank Chatham House. Also known as the Royal Institute of Royal Affairs, Chatham House is an independent policy institute that aims to create sustainable security and justice on a global scale. It sponsors over 300 events each year, attracting world leaders and leading analysts to public discussions about some of the important developments in world affairs. During these public meetings, Chatham House observes a rule that requires that the identity or the affiliation of the speaker should be kept anonymous despite liberal access to the information being given. This particular rule was put in place to encourage a transparent environment. With the unique protection anonymity provides in discussions, the Chatham House Rule has been adopted by different organizations the world over, enabling speakers to be completely open without fear of having their reputations besmirched.

Gregory Bedrosian, of Greenwich, Connecticut, is the holder of an MBA from Harvard Business School. As the co-founder and chief executive of Redwood Capital Group, Gregory Bedrosian has overseen countless transactions outside of Connecticut, including the acquisition of Retrotech, Inc. by Kion Group. Kion Group, through its affiliate Egemin Group, announced its takeover of Retrotech, Inc.’s operations in the United States. Retrotech, Inc., a 30-year-old developer and integrator of convenient warehouse and logistics solutions, operates in the United States and is wholly controlled by Savoye S.A., a divisions of the Belgian giant Legris Industries. Redwood Capital acted as lead transaction advisor. Retrotech’s acquisition was valued at $40 million and will go a long way in building on Egemin’s automation business in the United States and Canada. An expert in systems automation, Retrotech has clients in diverse industries including consumer goods, automotive, pharmaceutical, retail, and e-commerce. It has a staff of 140 and in 2015 recorded net revenue of $70 million, three times its 2011 revenue figures. Kion Group is Europe’s largest maker of industrial trucks and the second largest globally.

A graduate of Harvard Business School, Gregory Bedrosian spent many years abroad in London and Moscow before relocating to Greenwich, Connecticut. Along with leading as CEO of Redwood Capital Group in New York City, Gregory Bedrosian serves on the board of the Armenian Church Endowment Fund. Those interested in supporting the Armenian Apostolic Church can set up an endowment through the Armenian Church Endowment Fund (ACEF). This nonprofit organization oversees investments of individual endowment funds, creating a diverse portfolio to benefit parishes of the Armenian Apostolic Church across the world. Nomura Securities International managing director Lewis Alexander characterized a situation of a strengthening dollar and weakening international currencies as reflecting “flexible exchange rates working.” Though trade shocks do occur, they are quickly reflected in actual exchange rate fluctuations, which helps avoid the possibility of much larger corrections due to pent-up economic pressure.
