The 1964 GTO is my favorite GTO!

Back in much simpler times. A much slower pace.

The middle picture is AI and is incorrect with the emblem on the door. The top and bottom pictures are correct with the emblem on the side of the fender.

The 1960 Impala was a beautiful car. I was only seven years old when they came out, but I remember them on the showroom floor at Capitol Chevrolet in Austin, Texas. The dealerships used to cover the showroom windows to keep the new cars for the year secret until a certain day and then pull down all of the window coverings to let everyone see the newest cars for the year in September. It was a family event for us to go see the newest cars back then. A lot of other families did the same thing as we did. And back in 1960 Capitol Chevrolet was the only Chevrolet Dealership in Austin, Texas and they are still in business after all these years, but in a different location.

Stock appearance of the GTO is much better than this, and those gosh awful looking wheels and tires need to go as well.

I like the color combination on top, but I like the older bodystyle on the bottom. So I will go with the bottom.

Parked on the street is a Rambler Station Wagon in back, then a 1959 Oldsmobile 2-door Hardtop, then a 1953 or 1954 Chevy BelAir 2-Door Hardtop. Across the street I believe is a Plymouth or Dodge.
