These photos show the progress of me creating my Georgina Luck sample.

My timed exercises were really helpful when making this final image as they helped me familiarise myself with the pringles tube.

I started off with doing a continuous line drawing of the tube and then used watercolour to colour it in. I made sure to be loose and expressive when painting as the goal was to have the sample emulate the style of Georgina Luck.

I was tasked with downloading some paper nets off pinterest and constructing them as homework.

Scale paper model of my college lanyard for Unit 1

This is a scale model of my college lanyard made out of thick paper.

I had to make accurate measurements and think about how certain parts of the model would be constructed. To ensure accuracy, I used a mental ruler and a Stanley knife. I had to take health and safety into consideration when using the knife such as cutting at a reasonable speed, cutting away from myself, using a cutting mat to protect the table surface and retracting my knife blade when not in use.

I’m happy with how it came out, i enjoyed the making process and figuring out how the components will be fixed together.
