About the AU Counterparts
History changed and paths diverged after fourteen year old Danny Fenton ran away from home shortly after the accident with the Ghost Portal. Although he initially planned to return, his plans were cut short after he was discovered and sold to a place by the name of The Institute, where he endured cruel experiments and was forced to fight against other 'patients' by the head of research, May Clayborne. After escaping, he returned to Amity Park a changed person- the eighteen year old boy only had claiming his childhood friend and love, Sam Manson, on his mind.
Set post story, May and The Institute have been neutralized, and Danny is living with his family who are aware to some degree of his secrets.
Demigiest!Phantom is fairly powerful- his powers include the basic assortment of ghostly abilities, as well as the ghostly wail. He is able to absorb, store, and redirect ectoplasmic energy and possess the ability to use fire, rather than ice. He cannot overshadow people.
He tends to be rather temperamental and prone to violence, and doesn't like to be touched- especially not by women. Don't do so unexpectedly, or you might find yourself with a broken arm.
He talks to himself incessantly, and often doesn't make a lot of sense when he does so. He has a lack of empathy towards other people, unless they manage to make a connection with him, which can be quite hard.
He's very possessive and clingy of Sam- but he doesn't treat her as an object, and respects what she has to say very much. Sam's word is law!
After the mysterious and very sudden suicide of his best friend, Ember McClain, and his other best friend's father, Damon Gray, fourteen year old Danny Fenton confronted the one responsible- the soul stealing ghost, known only as Umbra. After having half of his soul ripped out, and only saved at the last minute by Valerie Gray, his was a changed person. Losing half his soul meant he became close to death, and because of this gained various ghostly abilities, as well as an altered appearance. Vowing to put a stop to Umbra, he has pursued him, alongside Valerie- although on the record, both teens have gone missing. He is now eighteen years old, and takes place prior to the fic.
Possess many ghostly abilities, including the basic ones- but cannot fly. He can walk on walls and levitate to some degree. He cannot overshadow.
Photographs and video recordings of him appear to be distorted, as well as mirror reflections, due to only having half a soul.
Has not met Sam and Tucker in this timeline. In this timeline, he also has a younger sister, Danielle.
Has not yet accomplished his goal of destroying Umbra.
Three years ago, fourteen year old Danny Fenton died in the ghost portal accident- and was revived as a full ghost. Taking on the name of Phantom, he decided to protect Amity Park from the more malicious of his kind. After the accident, his parents moved away, and Sam's parents temporarily sent her to boarding school for a year, though she has recently returned. Phantom's only friends are Tucker Foley and Valerie Gray, a hunter girl who changed her tune after learning the ghost's secrets. He is currently sixteen years old, and looks that way as well.
As a full ghost, Phantom has a full array of ghostly abilities, but cannot overshadow people. He's rather powerful, and is ranked as an S Class ghost, rather unusual for his young age- the ghost portal accident is thought to have something to do with it.
He's grown used to being a ghost, and doesn't seem to be as bothered by it as much anymore. He still hopes that he will never have to face his family again, though.
His ghostly obsession appears to be Sam, whom he had an unfulfilled love for- but he appears to be able to control it. He has not spoken to Sam since the accident, and she doesn't know Phantom=Danny.
Totally wants Tucker and Valerie to hook up together.
One year ago, fifteen year old Danny Fenton was bitten and nearly killed by a werewolf. Thus, he became one himself, along with all things that it entailed. Set in an alternate world where Sam is the one who has the ghost portal accident, and thus gains ghost powers, Danny's werewolf status is hidden from those outside of his family- including to Tucker and Sam, the latter whom he is dating. The fourteen year old girl seems to have a paralyzing fear of wolves, so he is afraid of her finding out.
Has more or less grown used to being a werewolf, often finding it more comfortable to take on his 'halfway' form (eyes, ears, tail, claws) when at home.
Heals very quickly, has rather immense strength, speed, and agility even as a human. Has a strong sense of smell and hearing. Technically nocturnal, but forces himself to operate on a normal human schedule, and thus is usually wiped during the morning.
Has learned to control his changes and change by will, but is compelled to change under the full moon. Carnivorous, but not interested in humans, thank you very much.
Still very much acts like friends with Sam, even though they are dating.
Wants to help Tucker find a girlfriend so that he can feel like less of a third wheel.
Still really doesn't like 'Uncle' Vlad.
