We walk a mile and then come to an intersection that is really busy and bustling so when the crosswalk man comes up, we both run really fast across. we continue to Disneyland and as we are talking about little parts of our wedding, Joseph pats his jean jacket pockets and I look at him and there’s fear and he says “I don’t have the tickets.” Which wouldn’t be that big of a deal… Maybe we left them in the car, but he had specifically put them in his pockets and that meant they had fallen or flown out.

Remembering how the tickets specifically state that Disney will not give you other ones if your originals get lost or stolen… We both entered a panic state. Me more alert and moving quick and Joseph more devastated and slow.

We started re tracing our steps and saw a white piece of paper laying in THE MIDDLE of the really busy intersection. We wonder if it’s our ticket but highly doubt it and don’t even know how we would get to it safely if it was. we press the cross walk and and just before it was our turn to walk, a car had drove passed the paper and the wind moved it right into the middle of the crosswalk.

we run to it and see that It’s my ticket.

It’s a little torn up but still preserved.

At this point we are more hopeful but still scared at the thought of wasting so much of my parents money and I can’t stop thinking of how we will tell them. I plan it all in my head.

We start walking down the sidewalk of a freeway entrance. We walk too far… To the point where it doesn’t logically make sense to keep walking but for some reason we did. We see a white paper against the freeway curb but assuming it’s not the ticket we slowly walk toward it.
