𝙱𝙴𝙸𝙽𝙶 𝙾𝚁𝙳𝙸𝙽𝙰𝚁𝚈  for   just   one   evening   ,   one   night   .   not   caring   about   possible   threats   ,   about   the   duties   that   came   with   a   certain   responsibility   that   weighed   heavy   on   her   their   shoulders   .   A   YOUNG   PERSON   ENJOYING   THEMSELVES   on   a   campus   party   rather   than   staying   out   in   the   streets   to   fight   crime   ,   to   dedicate   every   hour   to   a   purpose   more   important   than   beer   and   cocktails   .   well   .   maybe   ,   for   a   pretended   moment   ,   the   half   emptied   glass   in   amelias   hands   could   be   .   was   .   red   painted   lips   are   pressed   together   as   the   taller   approaches   his   girlfriend   ,   a   sudden   twist   in   her   guts   as   words   followed   ever   so   unexpectedly   .   she   raises   a   brow   ,   takes   another   sip   before   leaning   partly   revealed   skin   of   her   back   against   the   wall   she   was   standing   close   to   .   A   DRESS   HIT   SEEMINGLY   DIFFERENT   than   blue   jeans   and   shirts   .    ❛   why   would   you   be   .   ❜    a   statement   more   than   a   question   ,   no   rules   that   forbade   any   of   them   to   indulge   in   casual   flirting   .     ❛   or   do   you   think   this   dress   is   too   much   ? ?   ❜  

𝐀𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐃𝐋𝐘,  𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒  𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄  𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑  𝐏𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐑  𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐄𝐑’𝐒  𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐄.    definitely  not  in  high  school,  much  less  now  after  the  catalyst,  plunging  into  a  bottomless  void  with   no  hope   of  escape.  completely  shutting  himself  off.  however,  many  things  had  been  shifting  as  of  late,  for  the   better   (  except  for  his  and  amelia’s  rocky   friendship.   relationship?  affair?  that  had  been.  .  .   a  headache.  newfound  feelings  very  much   real,   impossible  to  be  shunned  any  longer  ).   a  change  of  scenery  might  just  be  good   ;   from  city  savior  duties  and  crushing   responsibility,   pretending  to  be  young  and  ordinary  even  if  just  for  one  simple  night.  with  the  help  of  alcohol   (  perhaps  a  bit  too  much.  .  .  )   to  not  indulge  in  certain   distracting   thoughts  as  lips  twitch  into  a  smile  at  teasing  words.  that  dress  too  much?  cue  a  slight  head  shake.   ❛  no,  ❜   yes  it  was,   insane.   he  could  barely  take  his  eyes  off  it   ;   now  wandering  down  over  opposite’s  body,  lightly  biting  lower  lip.   ❛  you.  .  .   ❜   before  returning  to  her  own,  brows  arching.   ❛  y’  look  amazin’.   ‘s  jus’.  .    ▬▬   a  big  change,  y’  know.  ❜   from  casual  clothes  and  vigilante  suit.  amazing  was  an   understatement.   then,  a  sip  from  half  -  empty  red  solo  cup  ensues,  to  clear  racing  head,  looking  around  the  mass  of  drinking  and  dancing  bodies,  suddenly   jealous   serious.   ❛  and  that  guy  at  3  o’  clock  has  been  watchin’  you  all  night.  .   y’  know  him?  ❜

❛    peter,  i  know  things  have  been   difficult   lately.  .  .   and  i’m  sorry  about  that.  i  think  i  know  what  you’re  feeling.  ever  since  you  were  a  little  boy,  you’ve  been  living  with  so  many   unresolved  things.   well,  take  it  from  an  old  man  :   those  things  send  us  down  a  road.  they  make  us  who  we  are.  and  if  anyone’s  destined  for   greatness,   it’s  you,  son.  you  owe  the  world  your  gifts.  you  just  have  to  figure  out  how  to  use  them.  and  know  that  wherever  they  take  you.  .  .   we’ll  always  be  here.  so  come  on  home,  peter.  you’re  my  hero.  and  i  love  you.   ❜     ▬▬   𝐁𝐄𝐍  𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐄𝐑.

❛  𝐖𝐇𝐎𝐀 !   𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 ?    i  jus’  saved  your  bacon  and  that.  .   that’s  how  y’  repay  me?  ❜   not  cool.  a  few  seconds  later  and  who  knows  what  those  guys  could  have  done,  cornering  a  lonely  lady  in  a  dark  alleyway.  .  .   new  york  streets  at  night  were   no  fun,   the  fear  carved  upon  opposite’s  features  very  much  real.  so  spider  -  man  didn’t  really  blame  her  for  the  aggressive  response.   ❛  ‘s  okay,  ‘s  okay,  miss.   no  one’s  gonna  hurt  y’  anymore.    ▬▬   see?  ❜   attention  switches  now  to  the  wall  behind,  waving  at  both  attackers  sticked  to  it   ;   cursing   hysterically,  swearing,  asking  for  help.  then,  however.   thwip !   thwip !   there  was  total  silence,  whining  mouths  webbed  shut,  returning  gaze  to  the  other.   ❛  totally  harmless.  .    you’re  free  to  go!  ❜
