        “You’re in Lebanon, Kansas. Lookin’ at roughly twenty four hours driving to get to California.” How was he supposed to explain how he knew Sandy? He didn’t know her, but he knew of her, all thanks to a movie. “Now this is gonna sound crazy, but you’re not real. I mean you are real, but you’re…Not real.” A complete contradiction, but the hunter didn’t know how else to explain the situation. So, he pulled out his cellphone, got up the internet, and searched the movie Grease. After clicking one of the links to the movie trailer, he played it and turned the phone to face her. “Look familiar?”

             At first she didn't even recognize what it was he was handing to her. Cell phones weren't really a part of her time. So, with interest, she squinted at the small screen, frowning as it continued to play on. "That----that's Danny. And Sandy," she mumbled. He was right. It definitely was crazy and none of it made any sense. "And----me? What are you showing me? Why are we in your little box? And what do you mean I'm not real? Of course I am. I was a '48 Ford De Luxe, and now I'm a person. Somehow."

     ”Not particularly.” 

              "Then maybe if we leave now----it won't find us."

                 ”… For w h a t?”

               "To fix an engine."

“‘scuse me. Ya haven’t happened to see a little blue police box around here have ya?”

           "A blue police box----?             I don't believe I have, sorry.             You haven't seen a boy named Danny Zuko, have you?"

                    “I do not think that you’re supposed to be here.”

             "Where is 'here'?"

    “Confused. I don’t know many… cars. Personally, I mean.”

               "Oh, me neither.                 I didn't know we could be people--before today."

    ” … okay.”

          "You look horrified."

     ”Do you really think so?”

                "I don't know. Maybe----                  Do you want it to come back?"

      “How are you a car?”

                "Well----                  I'm not right now. I don't know why I'm a person.                  I'm supposed to be a '48 Ford De Luxe."

          "I'd offer you a test ride,            but I'm not a car at the moment."

     ”Parked? Are you aware that you are not a vehicle?”

           "Um----Actually, I am."

        “I guess so, I do inquire a name however.” 

        "I'm Greased Lightning. And you are?"

     ”Do you nudge people with your car often?”

            "Oh, I don't have a car. I am a car.              But no, Danny doesn't make me nudge people."

          “I tried to get a picture of it…                       but it ran off        before I could click the button.” 

       "Maybe it will come back----whatever it was."
