            dex yanked the arm that had the small wound, understanding       well what the other's words meant. ever since the rat plague, just       about anything can warrant death ( it seemed medics were really       becoming  essential  in  these times ). healing just about  anyone       with the smallest symptoms of the  plague already began to take       its  toll. the  fingers  of  his left  hand  moved  as  he mended the       scratch, sparing  a  split-second glance  at the  glowing mark on       his hand. what would happen if authorities caught wind...
