Who if he creates a sentimonster, it’d have to be a life-long partner that he’d never destroy, and probably also fit into society and not ring any alarm bells for the average citizen?

I got really excited about that last scene.

Because while is Ladybug is talking with Chat Noir she apologizes for not listening to him, for lying to him, for keeping him at an arm's distance.

And then she says, "Every time you offered me a helping hand, I never took it."

Chat Noir’s response is not to berate her, yell at her, or blame her.

His response is to offer a helping hand again.

And Ladybug’s response is not to continue berating herself or pushing him away because she takes all the guilt and blame.

Her response is to finally take that helping hand.

Epic

IT WAS FORESHADOWING

He isn’t shown disappearing and look at the massive crowd its the perfect opportunity for him to make a first move and unleash an attack on all of those people who are showing support to Ladybug. The opposite of what he wants. He announced Ladybug’s failure to all of Paris, intending to turn them against her.

But it didn’t work

Paris BELIEVES in Ladybug and stands by her even in their darkest hour. Unafraid to show their support and offer a big middle finger by rallying to cheer her on.

What strikes me is how he says, “Unless someone decides to give me Ladybug and Chat Noir's miraculous.” Implying he expects random citizens to ban together to take her down to avoid further attacks. Maybe in the process finding people he’ll entrust with the other Miraculous’s. But he couldn’t be more wrong. All of these people showed up while he was still making threats and proving to him that he can’t sow seeds of doubt into them.

His visage is still there as the citizens are cheering for her. So he might retaliate against them by choosing to launch an attack on those who openly side with her.

They did say season 4’s finale leads right into season 5, and if that means we see the scene immediately after this one, we could have another scenario like the season 2 finale where citizens take on akuma’s themselves alongside Ladybug.

She may no longer have a team of superhero’s, but she has an army of citizens ready to fight for her, and as always, her faithful partner.
