Sorry this took me so long! I am suffering from Full Time Employment and I know so many people can do that and a million other things besides, in fact I used to be one of those lucky few, but alas no longer.

Anywayyy let me yap about Infamous now!

As of right now, I only have one MC, Josephine (Jo) Mercer. I haven’t drawn her yet but I do have this little collage I made on Pinterest:

Lead Singer of Second Nature, indie-alt band with deceptively upbeat music that will leave you wondering, “Wait why am I so sad?” after jamming out to their latest hit.

Pretty much all of my decisions for Jo have been based off this one response, which comes in chapter one, "With fame comes money and security. A stable position in an unstable industry. It's no longer a want, but a need."

That, more than anything, influences Jo's decisions. Which has been interesting! It's been a push and pull of conceding to Cory's demands for what makes 'good TV' even if she doesn't really want to, i.e. trying to film a scene with Seven, trying to engage him in conversation, even when she'd rather do anything else. Trying to figure out how much she can sacrifice her 'art' for the sake of stability, especially when this show is making it increasingly obvious that she might actually hate being famous. By chapter four, she is Not Having a Good Time lol.

I don't want to say she's a boring play through, but, she might be a bit of a boring play through lololol because she is NOT seeking out drama, she is trying her damnedest to keep things unmessy, but obviously, no one can do that on BOTB.

I think a lot of drama might come internally with her, between her and the band, because I love the band! I really do! But I think Jo is taking the competition much more seriously than they are. She stayed in to work on the song for Underground Wastebasket rather than go to Triple's party, she is always keeping them on track during rehearsals, and she always stays sober to make sure somebody is at cast parties. Might be fun to kind of let that resentment grow and see if it eventually blows up lol. I say as if I am remotely capable of making the 'bad/mean' decisions in games.

Part of the reason Jo is trying so hard is because she wants to prove to her parents that this isn't all a colossal mistake. I don't think MC's parents have any canonical professions or jobs but in my brain Jo's parents are literary agents for a major publishing house. Very well educated and well spoken, real high brow Literature People. Jo did really well in school, and in college, and so when she decided to pursue 'The Music Thing' full time, they were really disappointed. She tries to remain indifferent about her parents, but she's not always successful, and deep down, she's anything but.

Also, I say Jo is trying to keep things 'unmessy', and then….well….she has pretty high romance stats with Orion(81% secret crush), Griffin(70%), Seven(68%ex-boyfriend), Victoria(68%), August(68%), and also Blake…which is…literally everyone lololol. If Amy hadn't made everyone so interesting and charming!!! Then we wouldn't be in this mess!

Originally, I had eyes only for Orion, and that was my plan for Jo's endgame, but…..I may have been swayed in a different direction based off of this singular image

And also Blake's valentine's day special on Patreon…. I may be a Blake Winter truther idk

But the idea of Jo, who is so concerned with reputation, and 'making it' and stablity, and impressing her academic parents to the point where she unconciously has this very clean cut academic stage presence, falling for Blake Winter of all people???? Might be too good to pass up. (p.s. any fellow Blake fans need to go read @mrs-theirin’s fic like right now)

but also I loooove Orion so much 😭 so if Jo does go endgame with Blake, if that's even possible (I literally just realized that it might not be, since Blake is a 'secondary' RO. I might have to go hunting on Blake's tag on Amy's blog) then I will definitely need to make another MC for Orion specifically.

I need to make another one anyway, for Agust, and Seven, and and and…..you get the idea lol.

we have really been struggling financially this year especially with rent and we've fallen pretty badly behind again

a few minutes ago the landlord sent this

(i have no idea when liza is supposed to return, she's the manager and has been ill/in the hospital)

so we need money pretty desperately - we need at least $2,000 to pay asap

ANY help would be really appreciated - anything at all. please. we can't afford to move out either (or we would've done it already). we have no way of transporting ourselves or any of our stuff, we have no money to move, no place to move into. PLEASE help my mom and i and our cats from being kicked out of our house

There is good reason none other than Gigi Reign and her equally talented wife have voiced their ardent support for this contender of the @infamous-if BOTB – and it’s not just because of his dreamy brown eyes. It’s there in the way he translates his fiddly, puppy dog vibes into engergy-boosting bops. It’s there in the unpretentious optimism hidden beneath lyrics of self-depreciation and recklessness. It’s there in the way the worlds been needing just a lil bit of Sunshine Summertime ….
