Wild that you can have an insanely strong work ethic that has been commented upon by everyone around you from the time you were in elementary school but your parents will still view you as a lazy deadbeat slob because your room was kind of messy when you were 15

After a year and a half of not coloring my hair I have dye on it as we speak. To my grays: I love you so much and I am sorry. I just missed having super dark hair so badly 😭

One positive thing I will say about work lately…I’ve been talking to our capital attorney (a very brilliant but also very autistic guy) more often and it has been a mood booster. I don’t think anyone I’ve ever met has had more confidence in me than that man. We’ve been talking more because he wants my help on a new capital case he’s getting soon, which technically should go to our unhinged coworker, but he said he thinks I’m more competent and he likes me better so he’d rather work with me lmao. And he has also asked me for advice both on a pain in his shoulder and a leak in his house, because apparently I “seemed like a good person to ask.” I told him I am neither a doctor nor a contractor and he said “Yeah but you seem like you would know” 😂
