There is some weird horror to the way I was treated as a child and I don’t know how to explain it. Like the way I was abused was done so deliberately to play with my emotions and specifically my fear. Even the specific ways I was hurt through head injuries and that kind of thing were done to incapacitate me for a period and play with my emotional state. It’s just making me shiver thinking about it. Like I didn’t even have control over my own reactions because they’d be manipulated so deliberately to prevent me from trusting my own perception. It’s psychological horror in a sense. Very strange thing to do to a child.

New record for crazy childhood stories from my mom. So her family was on a trip to Hawaii (the same trip the guava juice incident occurred) and were trying to fly between islands. This was some pre 9/11 crazy airport shit and her grandpa needed a smoke and they let him go out on the tarmac just to have his smoke. And they were like running late for their plane. So he was out there smoking and the whole family was freaking out they were gonna miss their plane. So he comes back after his smoke and they need to RUN onto their plane. They get on and everything’s fine. And then they hear a lady talking about going to Oahu. They’re trying to get to Maui. They ask her about it. The plane is going to Oahu. They got on the wrong plane. She doesn’t remember what happened after that but like. Wow.

Remember being a kid and you’d just ride your bike everywhere? Like my main form of transportation, and I’d ride several miles and not be tired. But like now? I’m trying to ride my bike more to be more environmentally friendly and genuinely I can barely get anywhere. And I’m like a pretty fit person? Are bikes worse? Am I worse?
