The universe (which others call the Library)

Goddard [Codename. Real name unknown] is a researcher at Laplace studying and running tests on Out Of Place and Anomalous Artifacts left behind by Manus Vindictae throughout the eras.

Goddard is a reversed person, though he doesn't have any recollection of having a past in his current existence so he's dedicated himself to studying things just like him [Things that should not be wherever they are and cannot be traced back to the current era they have been found in] and uses his rather strong arcane skill through his right eye to analyze and find a way to trace back the object to it's era and analyze how its anomalous properties came to be, becoming exposed to the arcanum the Manus uses in the process.

He collects coins from throughout the ages, he finds their presence a comfort that maybe one of these is from his era. But he has no way to be sure where he actually comes from.
