fate is an art of will

after mapping out every scene of my entire novel i have finally accepted that when i sit down to start drafting it none of that is actually going to happen and i am just along for the ride

My ideal medium is you sitting down in my brain with a bottomless supply of popcorn and root beer to binge watch 8 seasons of this story that’s been in my head for years but I guess I’ll settle for writing it down

Me trying to find any reason not to write: oh you’re taking the trash out? I’ll come help. My book can definitely wait this is important

Why do I need 5 years of experience, 3 internships, 2 degrees and a Nobel prize to get an entry level job but fantasy characters can be trusted to save the world with only bad tempers and thigh daggers ? ¿

Why would I actually write my book when there are Pinterest boards, playlists, outlines, reels, character art, worldbuilding wikis, book covers, genealogy trees, and fantasy maps to make?

The 5 minutes I spent daydreaming about one scene in my book were the most productive 3 hours of my day
