I didn’t write this yesterday because I was way too busy, but here goes.

Everyone likes to talk about what they’re thankful for on thanksgiving and it seems like nobody shows how grateful they are for the people and things in their lives on a regular basis. I’m bad with words, partly because I speak two languages and some things don’t translate to English well.

So I want you to know that of everything I have to be thankful for, I’m incredibly thankful for you. It’s been a rarity for me to find a man like you, someone who would rather hold my hand than hold me back, who commends me for growing instead of condemning. You’re wonderful and supportive, and even though you’re my lover, you haven’t once stopped being my best friend. You’ve given me everything I need and more in the short time we’ve been doing this, and even more on the days when I don’t feel worthy of your time.
