"S'been a while Sally", James intoned as he came by to see her, spreading his arms wide to her. "Hug for an old friend back from a mission?"

Sally nodded, looking at where the Prince of Thunder pointed his observations.
"You're right, that isn't normal" she agreed and looked at the scans on her computer to find a location on the map system.
"Looks like a lot of it points Northwards I think?" she suggested as Thor looked closer with her. "if you look at the impact here" she showed.

"Oh my God it is actually working"
'SALLY?' I yelled it out, groaning rather quietly as a banging sound was heard from my room, which wasn't too far away at my request.' Gwod damnit!' A few choice words were told out and I moved a bit more, groaning.' Fuckin' Nightmawes..' I slipped out into the room carefully, not having my cane mostly because I couldn't reach it. 'I.. I dun fweel gwood.. Nu-uh.'
Sally came out of her lab and ran off to the sleep quarters made for Alex and saw him hobbling out.
"Oh my god, what happened??"
"The duck is missing, can you check your car?"
"Red Alert. If Duck is missing the nudge wonât sleep and will scream the house down. Iâm a searching baby but I donât remember Duck being in the car."

Adder chuckled as Silver wriggled about happily, Glad he had finally been given back his duck. Adder then gently placed the bottle to Silverâs lips and watched as the baby latched on and started to drink, finally learning he had to feed slowly and not fast, thus avoiding hiccups.
"Thatâs betterâŚ..see itâs not a race to drink your milk young man, you take your time" Adder said softly as Silver reached up and held his bottle between two tiny hands. It made Adder smile.
"You know he is getting bigger everydayâŚ..itâs actually hard to believe he started out as this tiny little pink baby"

Sally smiled as well âOh I know, heâs so cute and adorable, and he barely fit in one armâ
She scooted over and cuddled up to her family as Silver gurgled around the bottle and then burped when he let go, blinking in surprise as no one had to pat him.
"Oh ho, what was that?" Sally teased

Adder smiled at Silver and signed Duck to him, Silver in returned wriggled around and was getting grizzly, much to Adderâs amusement. He gently lifted the baby up and turned him to see the duck In Sallyâs arms, being cradled like it was a baby.
Silver squealed happy and kicked franticly, wanting to hold the Duck. He reached over to Sally and did grabby hands.
"Oh we sure missed Mr Duck huh little man?" Adder said playfully as the Duck was returned to itâs rightful owner. With that Silver had calmed down and had settled in his fathers arms, gripping the duck.

Sally chuckled and stroked the baby's head as he seemed happy, holding the toy and cuddled up to his father.
"He loves Duckie because Daddy put it in his hospital wing crib when he was an hour into the world" she said and smiled.
Silver smiled at her and babbled, holding out his duck as if to say 'look what I got'
"Yeah, it's your duck!" Sally said to the baby boy and tapped his nose and then gave the bottle to Adder to feed him.
Silver saw the bottle and signed 'milk' making 'aaah' noises.

"I know what we shall do. Why donât we go see Hippo. The one Uncle Joe won for you at the carnival" Adder said softly as he walked into Silvers room and found the hippo, perched against the wall.
He sat down next to it, gently laid Silver down on his back between his legs and brought over Mr Hippo, Allowing Silver to feel the cuddly toy and squeeze ears and paws. It kept him distracted while they waited for the much missed Duck.Â

Sally got a bottle ready and then heard the doorbell, going to it was Steve with Ellie.
"Oh Steve, you lifesaver!" she exclaimed as the Captain playfully waggled the toy towards her before she took it.
"Come in and make yourselves comfy, we'll all have a drink, I better go see to returning Duckie"
Sally took the duck and the bottle upstairs to the nursery, she smiled at the view of Adder softly speaking and playing with Silver as the baby babbled to his giant toy Hippo.
"Guess what I've got" Sally smiled

Sally thanked Steve and started putting the room back together, Adder walking up and down with their son who was missing the absence of his favourite toy. Silver kept signing 'duck' and grizzling, but had calmed substantially in the arms of his father.
"Aw baby, we're sorry" Sally said to the infant, hating his little sad face as he looked at his parents.

"Okay, I'll call him and find out" Sally said as she grabbed her phone.
Silver was peering up from the bouncer, clearly troubled and grizzling, it was pretty overturned in the house thanks to just about everyone searching frantically for the beloved toy.
"Steve says it's there" Sally said, holding the conversation with the Captain "he was going to bring it"
