My significant other and I were both suddenly fired from our job today (that I have been employed with for six years now) with no warning, no explanation. We have broken no rules, violated no policies, done nothing wrong. We were given no explanation, other than “This is a fire-at-will state and we were told to”.

I need help.

I hate asking for help for myself, I’ll happily signal boost my loved ones but I hate asking for help for myself. But circumstances are incredibly dire, as my household now has no source of income until we find new jobs.

Okay guys I never make these kinds of posts but this is important. It’s not even about me.

My stepdad is abusive and has severe anger problems and almost no impulse control and it’s been coming out in a very bad way lately. He’s been taking his anger out on my mother, and my 13-year-old sister, and she’s finally kicked him out of the house and is leaving him for good.

She’s trying to get a better job to support herself and my sister on her own again, and she has interviews lined up, but she desperately needs to make rent by the end of the month or she and my sister are going to end up homeless. She needs $575 total and has received $100 so far.

She’s set up a gofundme for people to donate to, but honestly neither of us are very sure about how this site works. If you want to donate there, go right ahead, or you can send it to my paypal (she doesn’t have one herself) if you’d rather do it that way. My paypal email is [email protected]. Anything donated is going directly towards my mother’s rent.

Please, read her story on gofundme, donate if you’re able, and reblog this post. I don’t want my little sister to be homeless, I don’t want my mother to be homeless just because she had the courage to leave an abusive relationship. Please help if you can. I would be so grateful.
