Knitting the ‘fancy’ (DBDA) Jumper

I love the jumper that Edwin wears in DBDA when he plans to confess, I thought I’d try recreate it!

The main feature is the shawl collar. The one in the pattern I’m following will be too big, so I will mind how large the collar is getting! Also in the pattern I believe it is ribbed, which I will be ignoring.

I’m trying to keep to pattern which means knitting flat even though it would be soo easy to do in the round.

The yarn is so nice! It’s a British wool blend (bought with a work voucher, I do NOT have Rowan money). My yarn may be more green than the inspo but that’s fine.

If anyone has made a shawl collar like this before I’d be interest to hear your experience with it.

UPDATE! Panels are complete! blocking now before i seam and start the sleeves. i did lowkey ignore the pattern but oh well. also dante says hi!
