I really hate how recently a bunch of ppl are coming out and saying how much they want a “big booty Latina” especially in times where Latine people are facing so much discrimination in the US

“Where are the Latinas??” Uhh probably busy BEING DEPORTED?? If you actually cared about Latine people you wouldn’t have voted that guy into office. If you’re fetishizing a whole ethnic group of women at least be a little self aware, besides, this whole discourse comes with a bunch of disgusting stereotypes about Latina women like us being aggressive, bold, “play hard to get”, etc. It’s been going on for months and ruining what were originally Latino spaces on the internet

I’m also really bothered about the physical Latina stereotype, I don’t think these people know the difference between ethnicity and race, I’ve been told I “don’t look Latina” by gringos because 1. I have white skin, 2. I have a slim figure, and 3. Because I don’t wear makeup???? Latine people are heavily mixed, especially Brazilians (which is what I am), and it really bothers me seeing my culture being dumbed down into a fetish

I could also talk about how these type of men treat goths (or alt ppl in general, especially women) but everything I could say has already been said before, while I’ve never seen anyone talk about this

(Besides around 2020 when ppl were doing the same thing to east-Asian culture)
