Not to be a bitch but sometimes people engage with fiction in the most boring way possible, and nowhere is this clearer than in videogames. Like what you mean you hate a character just because they were kind of abrasive when speaking to the player character? "They were mean to me" and it didn't occur to you to wonder why? Like, what might their attitude toward you reveal about the world? About the social dynamics within it? About their own perspectives and backgrounds and personalities? Does it even occur you to ask? Would you only have liked them if they bowed to your presence and talked about how great you are? Like I'm sorry but you're so boring. How boring fiction would be if it cathered to you

Oh boy, a complex character who's a woman! I love messy characters who hurt everyone around them and continue the cycles that hurt them!! Can't wait to share this joy with fellow fans– why's everyone calling her a bitch

i like that regina, played by delainey, mostly pretends to be the version of claudia played by bailey bass. yet another layer added to the absurdity and complexity in claudia's arc even after her death, the true memory is a monster manifestation of how she is never truly alive or dead in louis' narrative. claudia double casting you will always be famous.

as much as I love art of buffed to all hell Gideon (specifically gtn Gideon and not Kiriona) and yes, she has biceps the likes of which Jeannemary and Isaac have never before seen—I do think something is lost by making her shredded to all hell in back. and not just the realism of the fact that she only eats snow leek gruel and protein bars when she can find them. Gideon feels like she’s the hottest and buffest and the biggest around to herself, and by extension to us. but she’s still a teenager, barely an adult, she wouldn’t even be finished growing yet. I think there’s something important about the fact that she is physically imposing but she’s also smaller than we think. yes she is strong in all measures, but she’s still so young. she’s still small. she might not be as much of a wilted flower and drowned cat as Harrow is, but she’s still breakable. and I think that’s important.

I hope Hannah Einbinder continues to get roles where she is a loser lesbian thirsting for older women forever and ever
