ok Iâm actually hurting sm for Will in certain parts of htdc fic. Bc Mike is soooo unaware of Willâs past (or perhaps current) feelings for him (disclaimer itâs not Mike fault tho, he just doesnât know the full story and heâs also going through it rn with his current mental health so I donât blame him and want the best for him) and so, I just think when Mike describes his dates, sexual experiences, or domestic moments with Maggie, IK that shit stings Willâs heart a little (or maybe a lot :/). Especially since I think Willâs past canon feelings for Mike, that he probably had buried and tried to move on from over the years, are resurfacing.
I can can see how Will may be feeling with how peachstatic writes Willâs responses, such as him responding with a simple âokayâ when Mike says he loves his wife or how he finds her beautiful or responding with âthatâs goodâ when Mike said he âremembered why he loved her.â LIKEE ughhhh Will Iâm sorry u had to read that.
Even though we can only really see Mikeâs pov, this fic makes u empathize with each character. Currently, I was hit with sm unwanted pain about Will bc I KNOW heâs so selfless, especially when it comes to Mike. In turn, heâll put aside his underlying pain about having been in love with Mike since childhood to be there for him. There is no hesitation for Will to help Mike and be there for him bc Will genuinely cares about him and tries to understand how and why he might be feeling the way he does. And, that may cause him to get hurt in the processâŚIâm just scared for my sweet angel Will.
