What is Golden Gate Academy?

Golden Gate Academy is an OC based RP set in the same world as Boku no Hero Academia/My Hero Academy. It's a roleplay that takes place alongside the events of the popular anime/manga. This is a story that contains all original characters and will only slightly reference the events of the original series, our goal being to set up an original setting that could co-exist alongside the canon narrative. We are looking for Roleplayers that can invest their time and creative writing talents into making students that can participate in a long term, story driven roleplay that is directly driven by your student's actions. Due to this we would request that anyone interested be a hundred percent sure of their capability to remain consistently active in the role play. This is to ensure that your character has plot significance as well as to tell a cohesive narrative. We would expect at least one post a day if not more as a baseline for activity. If that cannot be maintained we would respectfully ask that you not apply as we don't wish to waste your time or ours. We are expecting this roleplay to go long term so please weigh your expectations accordingly. This is a long-term commitment so please be sure that you can commit to seeing it through before applying.

That being said, you can apply with the link listed below. Just make sure to fill out your character information to the full list of your capability. We would rather have a wealth of information than the lack of it. There is no standard format in this role play but we would hope that you would stick to something fairly legible. This means your standard expectation of describing character action, thoughts, and scene description.

We will not be taking characters that are in any way related to any of the characters in the actual anime as this takes place in the US. We like to think that you are all capable of creating fantastic characters in this wonderfully varied world so show us how creative you can be with your student.
