Fell out of love with the Terminator and lashed out + they both got themselves killed as a result

Both used by HIVE

Teenagers killed off as a plot device and dismissed as pure evil (for Slade’s character’s benefit)

Also, dysfunctional ideas of love, but Grant can be more closely paralleled to Slade’s (cheating, aggression)

So yeah to summarize I think they have similar appearances, very similar personalities, exact same motivations + endings, and a dysfunctional relationship with the same guy. It’s my headcanon that Slade was subconsciously using Tara as a Grant substitute right after he died to complete the same goal that he had, but idk if any of that was intentional.
