I feel like I’ve said this before but I found another continuity error. Johnny tells V he never worked with Thompson again after 2013. If that’s true, then why is Thompson in the fucking chopper when they’re on the way to Saka Tower in 2023?

Ooo This is sort of kind of good stuff! I THINK it's been said that Johnny is, in canon, an unreliable narrator figure. He kind of pieces his own memories together wrong on multiple occasions, no less due to his untimely demise and experiments conducted on his engram. For example, there's also an entire character missing from his memory as it stands, Morgan Blackhand, who had to deal with not only Smasher but also Johnny at the time during the Arasaka mission in sources. If this is deliberate then that's a neat little piece of subtle story telling. Though prolly also very likely to be an oversight lmao

Eyo, I’m actually super happy to hear it! It was inspired by an in-game poster and its artstyle, I already love doing portraits so it was a great fit. Really wanna do more of ‘em eventually, maybe!

idea behind the painting was basically just me thinkin ‘round about those songs kerry has sitting on his laptop. at first this was a b/w painting using “a vision of your memories” because i wanted to doodle something on the sad side, but when i started to play around with the gold colour and warm tones, it quickly shifted into something ... i don’t actually know. wouldn’t exactly call it “sexy”, really. More somber, calm in mood. something that might be a reflection of the safety kerry feels in relation to V (romantic or not, no discourse in this house i really don’t care how you choose to interpret this), or generally the point in his life where things started to turn. but i’m babbling! hope you like it. :)
