Just spent $2.99 PLUS tax to watch the 2004 hit film Raise Your Voice starring Hilary Duff, the actress who truly monopolized 95% of my mind in the early 2000s. literally openly sobbed twice already. I remember my mom took me to the movies to see this movie and we were using the bathroom after and I asked her if she liked it and she was like, “yes it was soooo sad” and I was like, “oh so you *do* like Hilary Duff movies” and she was like, “I would have cried and enjoyed it if it were Bugs Bunny up there instead of Hilary Duff!!” She just could not let me have my moment. Also, this scene is extremely iconic and so awkward. She really said “lalalalalalalalaLALALALAAAA, la la lalalalalaaalaaaa, lalalalalalala-???lâââ???LAAAlalala, ahhhhhuuuuaaahh, hooooohooooooõõyaææaaaã, ooooo oooommmmmhhhhhhmmmoooooooo, hyeééæææeeeeehheeeyeaaaheeee yaaaaaaeeeeyeahh.”
