The day I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I cried out to the Lord from my inner most part of my body. I felt a peace come over me, He impressed upon my spirit. “I am your pilot. You are my passenger. I will take care of you.” I had been going to the Y for several years for water aerobics. After finishing a grueling treatment, I was told about LIVESTRONG AT THE YMCA and was asked if I would be interested. I was introduced to Lisa Murray who walked me through the exercise program for 3 months. Even though she was my trainer, we also developed a friendship. I was so appreciative to learn how to use the equipment and very impressed by the strength that I developed at this time.
