So i picked up Runebound 3ed this past weekend. Its played on a world map and you travel and resolve the different quests and situations you run into. While exploring your trying defeat monsters and pick up equipment to become a better hero. The end game is to beat the Villain. Unfortunately the base game only comes with two Villain scenarios. Each player is a hero but its NOT a cooperative game. Everyone is in it for them selves competing to defeat the Villain. Overall I had fun playing and the game has lots of room for improvement with expansions. 7.5 out of 10
