ââS good to know, but aye. Been a wee while since I had one of those kinds of people . Wanna stick around, yâknow?â Which said quite a bit as far as Cassidy was concerned. Heâs had more than his fair share of friends and loved ones, that heâs learned to try to avoid the inevitable pain that is caused by his condition on both sides of the equation more often than not. Friends are easy for the Irishman to make, but to stayâŚ
To say Cass was impressed with Remyâs card trick was an understatement. It reminded him a bit of his own little hobby, to a small degree. It was certainly not quite as clean as Remyâs. âNo, mate; your trickâs way, way cooler than any of mine. Trust me. All I do is drink, ân doâŚ. uh. Other stuff, anâ not get permanently fecked up. Might die on a real good bender; Iâve givinâ many a coroner a fright, let me tell yeh.â And with that, Cass snorted out a brisk laugh.
His smile fell a little bit as he sighed softly. He then scrunched his nose as he finished his thought, âThey never seem to find it as funny as I do, thoughâŚâ
âYeah, ya deserve some happiness.â Remy doesnât know the other very well, but he thinks that everyone should have that happy ending. Even if it was temporary, no one should end up alone. If you find something worth keeping he believes that you should fight of it. Which is why he has been trying SO HARD with Anna over the years. Not that he should talk much when his own love life was a mess now.
Thereâs a grin when he can see that the other man was IMPRESSED by his trick. âIâm glad ya like it. Iâll show ya some more sometime. If ya ever need somethinâ blown up Iâm de one to call.â He could even use just his hands if he had to. âOh? Iâd love tâhear dat story.â He admits wth a laugh of his own.Â
âWell dat is a shame. Iâll watch de movies wit you.â
