I’ll try my best on explaining how I see them

They’d feel challenged by each other’s personality and it’s basically their foreplay to see who can impress each other the hardest. Lilypad would tease the crap out of Smarty and Smarty would end up getting baited into unexpectedly catching feelings for Lilypad—Smarty is in denial of it and obvious at the same time that Lilypad would act oblivious about it even tho she knows that she can just confront him that he likes her because she finds it funny how he’d stumble upon his own words when he thinks he’s getting a bit too obvious with his feelings for her around Lilypad. She corrects him in things which makes him feel inferior to her in a way but she doesn’t necessarily mock him that it makes him feel a bit acknowledged yk? Like someone willing to put up with his crap so he feels rather heard???

I keep forgetting to post this (mostly because I’ve worked 80 to 100-hour weeks for the last 7 months without any time off haha~) but here, FINALLY, is my contribution to the first ever Zutara fanzine, Eclipse. I am so, so honored to have been given the opportunity to contribute to such a special project. 

I finally finished it...

I think I redid it like 4 times, and I still not satisfied with the end result, but to this point I'm tired,

maybe I'll redo it somewhere in the future, who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
