Glooga Gang Rise Up

Disclaimer: I have not thoroughly read through the notes in the hoard bc I don’t really need it for gameplay

-Regular Bosses-

Salty Tongue

Very slow and easily dodged

Really only a threat if they manage to sneak up on you and you aren’t staying mobile or if encountered in a cramped space

Very easy to kill with Splatchet

Overall not very dangerous, just move out of the way

Priority rating 5/10

Salivator

Annoying as hell but not particularly dangerous

Somewhat threatening for early game players but after a while your passive attacks (Splatellite, Pot Shot, Bot Buddy, etc) take care of the stink bombs for you

Priority rating 5/10

Scrapper

This guy is no longer a threat at all

Very easy to corral into a group with other bosses for mass splatting

Free power eggs if they show up

Priority rating 1/10

Stinger

Fairly easy to take out unless using a charger or stringer and your gadgets are on cooldown

VERY dangerous if your armor is busted

Priority rating 7/10

Steelhead

No longer a threat but very useful

Their explosions on death are enough to wipe out hoards of bosses and lessers at once

Effect made even more intense if the power egg explosion ability is equipped, capable of setting off quite the chain reaction

Priority rating 6/10

Big Shot

VERY dangerous, shockwaves are easy to miss and will shred your health quickly

Splat IMMEDIATELY

Priority rating 10/10

Fishstick

Fucking whatever dude

Stick is a pain to climb, not as useful as in main games

Priority rating 1/10

Steel Eel

Most bosses have a much harder time splatting higher level players. Not the Steel Eel

Getting rammed by the chin can send you into danger territory even at full health

Priority rating 9/10

Slamming’ Lid

Lack of tight corridors makes these guys way less threatening

Slam attack can still do tons of damage even to the seasoned bosses so keep that in mind

Priority rating 4/10

Flyfish

Just like the Stinger, mostly dangerous if you’re armor is already down

Laughably easy to kill

Priority rating 6/10

Smoker

Has the health of a wet paper towel but is very dangerous

Fart clouds can make other Salmonids nigh invincible AND they damage you too— you can easily get picked off if you’re not paying attention

Priority rating 8/10

Maws

No longer insta-kills; attacks now launch you in the air which is sometimes beneficial

Armored side is incredibly tough which makes them slightly annoying to take out

Priority rating 7/10

Drizzler

Rain is laughably weak

Only gives me trouble when one is hiding and keeping me from drilling a crystal

Decimated by Splatchet

Priority rating 4/10

Flipper Flopper

Whatever dude

Priority rating 2/10

-Seasoned Bosses-

Thick-Cut Salty Tongue

Just as pathetic as normal Salty Tongue

Capable of being stunned as laser charges

Just move out of the way

Priority rating 7/10

Minced Scrapper

Easily distracted by targeting Bot Buddy instead of you

Bot Buddy alone can stun it

Not very threatening

Priority rating 5/10

Big-Stack Stinger

Shockingly beefy

Incredibly annoying

I prefer to attack it right away while using Showstopper to get it out of the picture

Priority rating 10/10

Refill Steelhead

Tanky but can still be shredded through with Splatchet

Shockingly nonthreatening

Big booms, very useful

Priority rating 7/10

Jumbo Big Shot

Avengers level threat

Massive HP, very mobile, shockwave attacks are rapid and difficult to dodge

Splat ASAP

Priority rating 11/10

Long-Line Steel Eel

Longer than a normal Steel Eel

That’s it

Priority rating 9/10

Extra-Crispy Flyfish

Much more tanky than its regular variant

Ink Strike attack is annoying but not lethal on its own

Priority rating 8/10

Big-Haul Maws

On its own it’s not very scary but when paired with other Seasoned bosses it becomes very annoying

Lots of HP and has an armored side paired with how long it takes to launch an attack makes it take a while to take down

Landing a freeze on it is very useful, paired with a Showstopper to chunk its health makes it easier to get out of the way

Priority rating 8/10

Strong-Arms

Extremely beefy, needs concentrated fire to bust each arm which limits your mobility and thus making you very vulnerable to its myriad of attacks

Must be taken down immediately, especially when other Seasoned bosses are present

Again, a freeze proc and Showstopper is best for taking a chunk out of its health and possibly busting an arm for you

—Final thoughts—

Virtually every Seasoned boss is crippled by being frozen; use whatever you can to freeze them and do as much damage as you can within that time

I use dualies and the Power tank with Splatchet, Splatellite, and Blast Boot; some of these bosses may be more or less threatening if your loadout focuses more on mobility/being airborne (hence why Big Shots are the bane of my existence)

The Power Egg Burst relic power is extremely useful, paired with a gadget that picks up farther away eggs makes crowd control much easier
