a;slkdgsjadlgkajs this one got me bc its like esp for byakutor how does one explain love shown across an entire soul reaper's lifetime... byakuya cooks for me a lot because if left to my own devices i will live on pb&j and pizza and he's here making sure i get important nutrients !!! i have a natural tendency to protect his personal time... especially after we're married and i take on the role of lady kuchiki i say no on his behalf often because this man does so much ok he does not need to be involved in every little thing he needs naps and hobbies!!! lots of other ways too i think but those two came to mind first :-)

byakuya's favorite part of our life together is the sense of trust we worked so hard to build - like the way it feels to be able to rely on someone in ways that he didn't think he could as the head of his family and as a captain and know wholeheartedly that he trusts me to do what's best when he needs me!! for me it is the money LOL i'm kidding its probably really similar but i'd add too that he will listen to me talk for as long as i want to explain anything to him and i never feel like i'm taking up his time or like it matters if i've already told him this story or whatever it is... my voice is very heard by him!!!

ok my first thought was matty and jenna in 13 going on 30 because although we don't fit their exact archetypes i think that experience of wanting the future to happen but finding out that you've had what you wanted most right next to you the whole time feels very significant to byakutor!!! i bet some other ones will come to me that are more fitting but matty and jenna are iconic childhood friends to lovers for me

i have a little moodboard to set the scene for what byakuya associates with me... shiny glasses of wine, peanut butter + jelly sandwiches, old records, golden hour... a few of the things byakuya associates with me!!
as for what i associate with him... the dampness of rain, the first blooms of spring, and the unmistakeable air of elegance... hard to moodboard but i hope u understand the vision :-)
