Thousands of users have had their accounts deactivated without warning. This is happening globally, all countries, all languages, active or inactive, business or personal. Whether you've ever done anything wrong, people are being suspended.

What should you do?

If you care about your pins and haven't been deactivated yet, download them NOW. Use wfdownloader or gallery-dl to download everything ASAP. You are not safe from this ban wave.

If you've already been deactivated, send in appeals. After appealing, reply to the automated message with the same appeal you typed. You will almost certainly not get a human response, but don't give up, some people are getting their accounts back after trying enough.

Stop using Pinterest. Uninstall the app. Switch to an alternative. Unfortunately there is no app just like Pinterest, but there are other places. If you can't switch, please be VERY careful with your Pinterest account- download everything, delete everything, do not make any new pins or posts or comments. You still might get banned even if you do this.

Leave negative reviews wherever you can (app store/google play). Vote other negative reviews as helpful and bot reviews as unhelpful.

Stay up to date with other users. The r/pinterest subreddit is constantly reporting suspensions, updates and any possible solutions.

Contact Pinterest. LinkedIn seems to have the only human workers available for contact. You can try instagram, tiktok or twitter, but so far I've seen little results from this. They can't ignore us forever.
