Are there any sort of characters you'd like to see - as in what they "specialize" in?

There isn’t anything in specific that I’m looking for, par say, but I do have lists and lists of ideas in my answeredafterdark tag. I’ve had a bunch of people ask for a bunch of different lists of ideas and if you’re not sure what direction to take, you should find something inspiring there. If you want to talk more personally, we can do that too.

We all knew it was coming; Thursday is the new Friday, and we're going to make it an official event. In the end, I decided that just making this a dash event should be fine. We'll keep things tidy and manageable by tagging everything related to this event with

If you're not sure what to post, feel free to come to me for ideas. Para starters are more than welcome as well.

Please remember to tag anything with imagery that is not safe for work with the simple abbreviation so that anyone checking the dash can make use of their blacklist if the need arises. Personally, I babysit children sometimes, so I really appreciate it.

That’s a very difficult question to answer, honestly. I’m not so inclined towards wanting specific characters around as much as I a inclined towards wanting characters that are full of life that make their players happy for existing.

As far as canon personality is concerned, I’d love to see a Jake Puckerman, Finn Hudson, Kurt Hummel, Mike Chang, and Artie Abrams. I’ve mentioned plot ideas that I’m fond of for Dave Karofsky as well. Cooper would have Blaine to plot with, and our Blaine is absolutely wonderful and completely welcoming when it comes to plotting.

I think the best way to pick a character though is to think about what ideas come to mind. You can browse the ask answer tag on here and find some ideas that I’ve dropped, if you want. Consider who you think you’ll have the most fun with and who you can see the most potential for plotting and blog content with. Who inspires you most?

do we have to keep canon sexuality? like, gay!finn or gay!puck?

Not at all! You can do whatever you want with the sexuality of your character. The only canon material that absolutely has to stay in your characterization is the canon personality-- but even that is moderately subjective because most of these blogs are run with a persona in mind, so some of it is acting and some of it is saying/doing things they want to do but would never do out in the open in their real life.

I mean... on one hand, I like the way you think, but on the other hand being misgendered is not fun. I get misgendered a lot, so I'm one of those More Sensitive people that has to at least make it known that I'm a man in the face of feminine nouns/pronouns. Especially knowing that I use a woman as a mascot for the main. It would be easy to assume I'm a woman behind the screen too. This is also the first time I've heard anyone specify that they're using queen as a gender neutral term. I've only seen it said to women, drag queens (while in drag and using she/her pronouns), or flamboyantly gay men.

Thank you for the colloquial lesson though.
