what had she done to deserve this? tears welled up in her eyes as the footsteps slowly descended the stairs into the basement she was being held in. she couldn’t take this any longer. why couldn’t they have just killed her originally? instead, they’d tested out their quirks on her… she let out a muffled cry as the figure drew nearer, struggling against her restraints in a futile attempt to escape. she couldn’t take it. she didn’t want to be used as a pin cushion or a guinea pig for the quirks of the villains who’d taken her.

it wasn’t until she heard a somewhat familiar voice that she actually turned to face the person in front of her. a hero… the class president of bakugo’s class. she was safe, wasn’t she? or… was it a trick? she flung herself back into the chair, tipping herself over in an attempt to escape. she refused to be fooled. she was going to put up a fight. there was no way they were going to put her guard down. she crawled as fast as she could from the chair, a daunting task since her hands were behind her back.
