"Starscream had everything. After stellar-cycles of proving his worth over and over again, his brilliance was finally recognized by the masses and he was elected as the Leader that he was always supposed to be. Wherever he went, bots greeted him with kindness and respect and although there were still those that opposed him and had attempted the occasional coup or assassination, he had still formed a habit of venturing down into the streets of Iacon to take in the cheers of his people. After all, a few angry bots could never pose a threat to him. During all of his visits, he had grown to enjoy the presence of the bots around him, wallowing in their admiration. It felt good, to finally, truly be seen. And yet, standing on the central plaza of Iacon city, where all of the main streets meet and the city was at it’s busiest, Starscream was all alone."

Meet Trailfire and Valkyrie,

my probably oldest Transformers OCs.

OC lore dump!

(Caution: I took a lot of liberties. It does not really follow any Transformers in universe rules lol.)

Trailfire is an unaffiliated Cybertronian. She and her Conjunx endura used to be part of a small crew helping refugees to escape the war; rescuing them and briging them to safe planets. Her Conjunx joined the autobots, but she never felt comfortable with a badge. After the crew suffered a major loss due to Shockwave, they split up and she and her partner took on bounty hunter missions for exterminating decepticons instead.  

During a mission on earth her partner was captured by a human scientist who conducted multiple experiments on cybertronians. He killed her partner and took his spark to bring one of his creations to life: Valkyrie-7/ V-7. It was the seventh time that he has attempted this, but she was the first success.

Trailfire breakes her out of the lab, in hopes of getting her partner back, by bringing her to Cybertron. Over the course of their travels, Val (who is constantly looking for a new name for herself) learns about life, while Trailfire comes to terms with her loss. Rather than despising Val for what she is, she starts to see her as somewhat of a daughter.

Valkyrie is a Minibot, about Swerve's height & turns into a jetpack. her wings appear comically large compared to the rest of her body, but she can fold them once. Her arms and legs are basically just extendable pipes, which connect the suction entries on her arms to the canisters in her lower legs. The jetpack is usable by other minibots and smaller Cybertronians (nautica/rodimus. any taller would be too heavy.)
