Eloise is a TECHNICALLY unemployeed young adult, but makes more than enough money doing “illegal” things.

And by illegal, I mean graverobbing, to sell parts to those in need. (mostly undead, and often rich or famous.) She enlists her (reluctant) cousin/best friend to help her, as his position as a mortician keeps her in steady supply.

Skitten - Skitty ♀ Quirky (Somewhat of a BRAT) - Cute Charm. He Doesn’t battle with her, She was his first pokemon he caught all by himself. She’s a spoiled princess.

Berti - Pangoro ♂ Rash (Sturdy body) - Iron Fist (Sky Uppercut, Surf, Vital Throw, Rock Smash) Mathias’ childhood best friend was his Pancham he recieved as a gift from his parents, after he lost his right hand. They grew up play wrestling together.

Rex - Tyrantrum ♂ Bold (Nods off a lot) - Strong Jaw (Earthquake, Dragon Claw, Strength, Crunch)

Mama - Gengar ♀ Sassy (Likes to relax) - Levitate (Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse, Shadow Punch, Payback) No one knows why she’s named Mama, especially seeing as his mother is still alive.

Drii - Driftblim ♀ Brave (Likes to thrash about) - Unburden (Cut, Hex, Fly, Phantom Force) Met as a driftloon, and is still rather in effective at dragging Mathias off to the spirit realm or wherever these pokemon try to lead people.

Ylvis - Braixen ♂ Rash (Alert to sounds) - Magician (Psychic, Fire Pledge, Flamethrower, Psyshock) Given to her by her parents to encourage her to leave on her journey, in an attempt 

Aviya  - Litwick ♂/ ♀/? Bashful (Hates to lose) - Flash Fire (Flame Burst, Nightshade, Hex, Flamethrower) Verena believes this pokemon to be the spirit of her little sibling.

Noiz - Noivern ♂ Hasty (Takes plenty of siestas) - Infiltrator (Air slash, Fly, Air Cutter, Aerial Ace)

Doctor  - Spritzee ♂ Careful (Hates to lose) - Healer (Fairy Wind, Sweet Kiss, Odor Sleuth, Echoed Voice) Verena generally only refers to this pokemon as “The Good Doctor”

Cillian - Blastoise ♂ Docile (Somewhat of a clown) - Torrent (Water Pulse, Water Pledge, Surf, Aqua Tail) A pokemon she inherited from one of her parents, He’s an old man who watches out for her.

As part of maturation for the Kver, they receive their ‘second sight’ in their midteens. And then they gain their ‘third sight’ and a third pair of eyes as they reach maturation in the late teens/early twenties.

Before the process of maturation begins, kver children resemble humans. (Though, after maturation, they still resemble humans to any non-kver. And some other magical creatures.)

If he were to look in the mirror, through only the top set of eyes, he would appear human to himself. They appear human to other humans simply because of the laws of glamour. Humans don’t see what they can’t comprehend.

Kver are magic seekers. They are evolved to fly under the radar, even to most other supernatural beings unless they are also adept at sniffing out nonhumans.
