talking about the cowgirls and cowboys of pop'n music
i'm going to talk about 2 cowgirls and 2 cowboys that appear in the pop'n music franchise.
she is a texas cowgirl who first appeared in pop'n music 6 with the banger known as over the hill. her most iconic features are her blue eyes, her pink hair with fluffy pigtails, and her freckles. she would eventually get a new song in pop'n music jam&fizz, titled que sera sera. i've yet to listen to that...hope it slaps.
next, let's move on to force.
he is a kansas cowboy raised in saitama, and also the fourth member of the miracle 4 from pop'n music 8. however, he wouldn't become a separate playable character until pop'n music 9, where he had the pretty darn cool atsushi shindo song called dynamic! atomic! s.c.b.g. ~ver.1~, which got removed from iroha due to shindo's plagiarism accusations(the song, along with shindo's other songs, remain playable in the console pop'n games, from 3 to 9). fortunately, his sprite didn't get removed, but eventually, he would get a new song in pop'n music 17 the movie, called pitagoras kiss. his pop'n 17 sprite is also decidedly cooler than his pop'n 9 sprite. more recently in may of this year, he got a new look in pop'n music high cheers, and a new song called red mountain, the sequel to blue river from pop'n music 11 CS.
and now, let's talk about ema next, cuz she's my favorite out of all of them.
she is a kentucky cowgirl who made her grand debut in pop'n music 9, being the character of a really awesome song, called coyote no yukue, composed and arranged by good-cool, and sung by naoko yamashita. ema also appeared in pop'n music 11 with the song forever the earth. that song is good, but it got removed from pop'n music 17 the movie due to reo nagumo's departure from konami. despite that, ema's pop'n 11 sprite can still be selected. that, and i should also mention that she appears in the king's pop'n music 10 animations with an outfit that resembles her pop'n 9 one, but with some changes. ironically, all 4 characters i'm talking about appear together.
and finally, let's talk about hone-hone.
he is a scrapped pop'n stage character, a buffalo-like creature who went unused in the final game. come pop'n music 6, and he would appear in rolly's animations, serving as her rival. his birthplace is unknown, and we'll probably never know anything else about him.
