how do you get custom colors/ombres in your text?
Update: I've redone this explanation in a way that should be easier to understand. You can find the post here.
Original Answer: The power of HTML! As far as I'm aware, it only works on desktop Tumblr. When making a post, there's a settings button in the top right corner of the post. Click on it and find the second section labled "Text Editor". Change it from "Rich text" to "HTML".
For the text to be one color, copy and paste "<span style="color:#hex code;'">Your text</span>" without the surrounding quotations, do not touch the quotations inside. The bolded italicized parts are what you need to replace. Your text is, obviously, your own text. Search up color picker, chose the color you want, copy the six numbers in the HEX section, and replace the "hex code" part.
To make the text gradient, I usually use this website, but you could also search up "HTML Gradient Text Generator" or something like that. For this post, however, I will be referencing the website. Once you have set everything up, copy the generated code in the second box labeled "HTML code for this text: (To use on your website)", BBcode is for something else. The additional text settings don't work, as the setup is different from tumblr's posts (or maybe I'm just stupid I know like the bare minimum of HTML), so add the text type/strikethrough/bold/italics/smaller text/link to after you've pasted the text into Tumblr. If the mess that is HTML does not work with your brain, switch the Text Editor back to Rich text to do all that, because it does usually end up in this horrifying mess:
You guys do know that you can do whatever you want in your own stories, right?
You can romantically pair whichever characters you want together. You can have them live happily ever after, or you can have them end tragically. Or nicely. Whichever you want.
You can do whatever you want to do with your world-building. You can make up whatever laws and customs and cultural practices you want to. You can have MPreg or FemPreg or have everyone pop out of the damn ground like a PlantSim!
You can make a Medieval Fantasy world that isn't misogynistic, homophobic, etc.
You can have villain protagonists. And they don't need to be redeemed, not even to have a happy ending.
You can kill off NO characters, or EVERY character, regardless of the plot and genre!
You can have your characters use bedazzled fucking unicorns that poop rainbow turds like it's 2014 as transportation, if you want!
You can literally do whatever you want to do in fiction. And unless it's something that is copyrighted, or you live in some oppressive country with censorship laws for fiction, no one can stop you. (This all applies to fanfiction as well.)
"But what if people think it's stupid or gross or-" If you're letting literature/film snobs or Purity Pushers control what you do with your art, then you have no business creating art.
Or you can make the most basic, normal worlds and stories conceivable (depending on the genre). What matters is that it is the story you want it to be.

fucking dream
"Tutorial" on how to "draw" a blind OC.
My kofi
Boring tired disclaimer: Keep in mind that this is an introductory "drawing" "tutorial" and has some generalizations in it, so not every âX is Zâ statement will be true for Actual People. Which happens to be true for everything in general. Links below so that you can research and do a nuance. Ones that were directly mentioned are bolded.
FRIENDLY REMINDER: whenever you say that Timothee Chalamet or Finn Wolfhard or whatever jewish boy youve latched onto looks like a mouse or a rat or whatever you are being extremely fucking racist!!!!! like nazi kkk racist!!!!!!! like stop doing that please for fucks sake!!!!!!!!!!
it pisses me off that i can make a post about people saying extremely offensive things about jewish menâs appearances and yall will still be reblogging this talking about how hot or ugly they are. that isnât the fucking point. i donât care how hot or ugly you think timothee or finn or any other celebrity is. the point is that itâs become very normalized to say things about jewish menâs bodies that are rooted in antisemitism and i think itâs fucked up.
hey prev!
so a couple of things:
yes, the black plague thing is part of it. jews were very often blamed for the plague and massacred. the population of jews in medieval europe took a HUGE nosedive because of this. the plague was less deadly in jewish communities and christian europeans associated it with their views of us as being "satanic" and accused us of poisoning wells. in reality it was because jews practiced better hygiene (as it is literally part of our religious rituals). jews became associated with sickness, parasites, and yeah, pests. (we can see this carry over into modern day with covid conspiracies.)
the nazis called jews "vermin", "pests", "disease", "plague". they called us rats and mice and roaches. saying these things about jews or people who "look jewish" is the same dehumanizing language used by the literal actual nazis.
itâs also very much tied to the denigration of Jewish features as ugly and sinister. pointy noses, beady eyes, large ears, all have been used in antisemitic caricatures and are also associated with rodents.
one of the most illustrative pieces of Nazi propaganda about this - the rats are Jewish refugees:
Cartoon depicting Jewish refugees as rats, thrown out of Germany and Nazi occupied territories, deni | Image library. The New Humanitarian p
another example:
Rats make us think of disease, dirt and infestation, and have been used to represent Jews in antisemitic imagery throughout history into the present. Take a look at this is propaganda poster from the 1940s when the Nazis occupied Denmark. The text reads âRats. Destroy them.â In a Nazi propaganda film, the Eternal Jew the occupants of a Jewish ghetto are shown in tight quarters likened to rats swarming in a sewer. The statement âDestroy themâ is particularly vile due to the common use of Zyklon B to eradicate rats as well as its use in the Nazi death campâs gas chambers.

it just so happens that right after this i saw that this is a real thing that has happened:
PA accuses Israel of engineering 'special rodents' to attack Gaza children - Israel & Jewish News - JNS
i wonder why this obviously AI-generated image looks so familiar??? /sarcasm

Petition to outlaw the term "Grooming" until people start using it correctly because this shit has gotten RIDICULOUS!
Absolutely moronic. Society and art may be doomed.
This bullshit is reminiscent of a video I got recommended on YT 2 or 3 years ago saying that we were "groomed" by shows like Pretty Little Liars. What else, dipshit Miss Moral Majority, do you believe that horror movies and M for Mature video games are teaching people to be murderers and drug dealers?
Calling anything bad or inappropriate (or that you simply deem bad or inappropriate) "grooming" is a slap in the face to actual victims of grooming. And it causes artists making art to be slandered and even harassed.
Even age-inappropriate relationships are not inherently Grooming. The Scream fandom likes to say that Richie groomed Amber when that is canonically not true. He was a creep, yes, but it was not grooming. (And for 1000th time, they are both FICTIONAL and SERIAL KILLERS!) Many people say that Karen groomed Billy (Stranger Things), but that is literally not possible because not only was he was attracted to her on his own, but they barely even knew each other! I hate that whole thing, and I think Karen is disgusting, but she did not groom him.
My point is: USE WORDS CORRECTLY, and leave artists and fans the fuck alone!
