The Journey of Writing

*Lights up on two school students, sat at a table waiting for their friends. One is dishevelled, overtired and cautious, the other is upset/angry for them.*

Serentity: It was scary you know.

Alice: I’d imagine. I’m fuming just hearing about it. I hate men. It’s nauseating/ I can’t even fathom it.

Serenity: /Worse than nauseating. I was shaking like a leaf in a hurricane, it was horrible. 

Alice: God, what are you gonna do?

Serenity: I have no idea… I just /need help.

Alice: *Nodding* /Should get help. 

Parted again with string,

The harsh kiss of two, in heat, Bathing in the sting,

Of teeth sunken in skin.
