Burial At Sea, the DLC that takes place in Rapture also essentially retcons things to say ALL of Bioshock is because of Elizabeth basically. Andrew Ryan's fears were right: Rapture was acutally just fine and it's horrific oppression only failed because Elizabeth, an outsider was involved in it ultimately, which lead to the fall of all of Rapture ultimately for her own personal white woman reasons
