Just heard that HAPPPY MUM, HAPPY BABY: The Podcast has surpassed 2 MILLION listeners!! This is amazing news. Thanks so much to everyone who has taken the time to listen. I honestly love sitting and chatting parenthood with people, so this is a pure passion project. We are all different. We parent differently, cope differently, struggle differently, succeed differently - but we’re all trying to do the best for our children while somehow feeling judged no matter what decisions we make. Often the biggest voice of criticism is the one in our heads. And the more I talk the more I seem to realise that we all have moments of being buried beneath self doubt and feeling like we’re failing. Talk is good. Talk makes the whole thing less lonely and easier to digest. Each time I come out of recording an episode I feel like I’ve gone through therapy. Have you listened to the podcast? This morning Buddy insisted on wearing pants... ‘Great!’ I thought, reaching for the pack of 7 I’d bought in the hope that this moment would eventually come (I learnt from Buzz not to force the issue but follow their lead instead). Well, one pair went on normally, and then the rest were worn like hats. He loved it! Oh, and as for the potty training - there were many accidents (as expected). I found myself looking on Amazon and came across a potty called ‘Summer Infant My Size Potty’. It arrived TONIGHT and he was sitting on it and using it straight away, finding it hilarious. A night at the theatre with my gorgeous date @emmawillisofficial to watch Little Shop of Horrors at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre. Completely bonkers, uplifting, dazzling and full of character!
