i have been inspired. so now i will share a little of what i may do with beetle.
beetle is a very sickly creature. he catches pneumonia easily, & will sneeze and cough unless he has his cannula. he wears it pretty consistently. the only time beetle removes it is when he is performing. he does a skit where he walks on stage wearing his cannula, then removes it. instantly his nose and mouth start bleeding.
but will people watch a creature bleed for entertainment? beetle then begins to sing. his voice is very haunting and childlike, and some people are so disturbed that they are forced to leave. when beetle is done singing, he looks at the audience and smiles, picks up his cannula, and goes back stage to drink lots and lots of juice and eat lots of food.
beetles routine is called "ghost song". he sings in a language that nobody understands, so some speculate that he is putting a curse on the audience for paying to watch him suffer. however, beetle is a very kind soul, and does not wish harm to befall other people. this is beetle's life, how he lives, and how he ensnares the attention of those at the circus.

i wiped that fugs face up that i hated :^D. however now i do not know what to do with him. i dont have the funds nor space to get him a body;; i think i like the adult 72cm doll chateau body for him, but that is moneys & veryyy much bigger than the rest of my creatures. ives is my tallest, at 61cm, & i find him to be the perfect height. i've considered selling him but i love the face so very much, & he is so expensive on the secondhand market as well as difficult to find so i am hesitant to do so :/

if i ever had extra extra funds, i would get a dollzone star head & hybrid her on a msd doll chateau body. this is the only girl i have ever fallen in love with, there is just something about the sleeping sweet face i adore. i have a full plan mapped out for her as well. i would name her silene [SIL-en] & she would be a ghost, that's why she has the pointy ears. she drowned to death off of a ship, but died very calmly, and that is why she looks very serene. i would put her in a white victorian dress & give her black, wavy hair 🖤 in my mind i see her as a very harmless, benevolent ghost, who appears in the home of sailors while they are away & the light house is shining. she follows the light to shore & that is how she roams. she makes friends with the sailors' children but makes the people she comes in contact with very sleepy, like they are slowly dying & falling asleep
