When I suggest people go to the doctor for something a lot of them seem to assume I don’t know what it’s like to have doctors that don’t listen to you. Yeah I do actually. I still think you should go to the doctor.

You will not believe the number of students I have who are gobsmacked that college tuition comes with free healthcare (mental and physical) in my state. Some literally choose a 4 year just to get medical.

I recently watched this video by hydn called “The Great Concussion Denial” and holy fucking shit. Made me sick to my stomach. The tldr is that it’s all the NFL pushing football on kids but that’s really diluting the story

Has a student who had a seizure, referred to Stanford, he had arachnoid cysts, he also had a bulging that looked like the beginning of an aneurysm, told he had to stop football. He is in an elective I teach. His mom calls me crying, he is getting on the bus for a special lineman camp, he told his coach he was cleared to play. This woman is telling me, “I don’t want to be the bad guy, he’ll hate me.” My tubby butt walking over to tell the coach he is not cleared. Kid screamed at me, cursing me out, in my face. I told coach to go with the players. I had this. Screamed he would never forgive me. Told him he would thank me when he could dance at his wedding, or when he could still speak at his college graduation. Next year the kid playing the same position got the exact same condition.

BITCH, those puppies are $5 at COSTCO, we are all sharing a single membership. Sending our girl Tanya in to get those birds and bring them out to disseminate to the rest of us. And we great her like the second coming of Christ.

My best friend was diagnosed with Lupus after I paid for the cascade test. Having 42 food allergies and 60 environmental was my tip off that something was desperately wrong. When she got her diagnosis she had no idea what it was, except for on “House” it was never Lupus. She had a hard time understanding it, so I told her. Your immune system knows who to attack because all you cells are like players in uniform, the immune system never attacks someone in the same uniform. Well, Lupus is what happens when your immune system wakes up color blind. So they attack everything, aggressively.
