What a beautiful day yesterday, tasting Vermont’s finest wines, great conversation and wonderful food. Thank you @lagaragista and @artisanalcellars for a wonderful day! Hopefully we will see some of these up north this year. (at Barnard, Vermont)

Vanilla, roasted cloves, black pepper, dark cherry and a dark wormy earthy nose. Palate is reminiscent of the nose with soft dark cherrie smooth black pepper and vanilla , deep earthy notes with a hint of tobacco. Well balanced and amazing

Beautiful lemon and honeysuckle nose. On the palate petillant lemon, honey, elderflower with hints of white flower and a citrus yeasty finish. Wow!

Red berry, cherry, rasberry mash, herbs de Provence, and a spicy nose. Tart berries tart cherries asparagus, light herb with a spicy finish. Nice young syrah, shows really nicely!

Wild raspberry, white pepper, dark chocolate and vanilla nose. Bitter chocolate raspberry, cherry, vanilla, baking spice with a velvet finish; awesome pinot noir!

Black cherries, cherry pit, currants, vanilla oregano with a black pepper nose. Same palate, nice balance!

Black berry, cherry, clove and pepper nose. Cherry, black berry, wild black raspberry, violet, stalk and pepper on the palate with a beautiful finish. Really awesome wine! Don't be afraid to decant, you wont be sorry!

Lemon, melon, white flowers, tart berry nose. Green apples, lemon, honey, white flowers with strong minerality and a semi dry finish.

Cherry, red berry and vanilla nose. Cadied cherries, candied current, tart cherries on the palate. Great value!

Candied green apple, lemon rind, nettles and lavender nose. On the palate green apple, tart apple, lemon peal with grapefruit and a sharp acidic finish.

Brambly red berries, prunes, fennel, black pepper, clove, thyme and earthy olive nose. Soft red berres, plum, sour cherry, clove, cigar dried tobacco leaves on the palate. Great value for an amazingly complex wine!

Galilea Galilei

Warm black currant nose with baking spice black pepper and herbs to finish, very complex! Black licorice, cloves, black currant, and sherry palate with hints of fennal, tar and smoke and dried rose petals.

First off this wine is amazing. Very reminiscent of old style wines. It is so complex changing over the time that you drink it. Earthy round nose with hints of raspberry, mustard seed and dried herbs. Dehydrated raspberry, dried herbs, asparagus and a silky tannic finish on the palate. Don't forget to thank Joker (Leducs' horse) for all the hard work!
